Don't know many of the players but Dylan Smith, Ethan Burnett (AA SSA U15 + WA B&F) and Callum Ah Chee are three to watch out for.

Greg Clarke is probably the biggest name, tall midfielder that started playing Colts for Subiaco at the age of 15. Was also AA in the SSA U15 champs.

Feel free to add the other squads.

Yep. He's one of six brothers.

Excellent interview.

I rated Brendon highly in the year he was drafted and I think Callum from the South Freo 16's games I have seen will be evn better. And he's definitely taller than the 180cm listed above. He played a very similar game to his brother where he would start in the middle of the ground and drift forward to provide a marking option.

Exceptionally well spoken for a 15yr old.

Holding out hope for Brendon to make it at AFL level. He's progressed from the SANFL reserves to playing some decent footy in the league, but would still behind a fair few to get a game even though we are struggling. I think that the club see him as a longer term prospect, so he should be given at least another year.

Parish & Bennett have both played colts down at East Fremantle. Must say I'm quite pleased. Very small (only 57kg), but has a surprisingly good leap, knows how to spoil, has a good goal sense, get some weight on him and have him grow a bit and he could be a superstar.

Bennett was solid and unspectacular, in the Masten/Priddis mould, you wouldn't know they've had X amount of touches. Very clean with the ball.

Harrold is a great skilled player, good overhead, a long kick.

Heard good things about Kersten, brother of Geelong's Shane.

Bennett is very clean never fumbles and keeps his feet.
Antonio from west perth is another good player.

And yes to the other guy Della Franca is a beast lots to work with there, needs to get better below his knee's
though.

Theres another Parish(Darcy) in the Vics squad, has made AA at all other age groups I think. Outside mid I think

NT defeated TAS by approx. 20 points.

Does anyone know of any coverage of the championships available? e.g. Radio, Statistics

SA 22.16 148
Metro 3.2 20

That is a proper smashing, must be some real talent coming out of SA.

the vic metro selectors have alot to answer for (namely anton grbac) ...they by no means selected the most talented players they selected a height based and name based side...a terrible tradegy vic metro u 16 will not win a game ...you cannot select a side based on school boy performances of the past...

I know Paligorov from experiance, I've played on him before.

Guy's tall for a 16 year old, absolute beast.

Bit slow, but he he's always at a contest and is a decent mark.
Hell, I'm not a skinny bloke and he managed to bloody well pick me up in a contest and swing me around effortlessly.

Either SA are extremely talented or as you say VM got selection seriously wrong.

Will be fascinating to see the teams play in 2 years time in the U18s.
