I was of the opinion to not do it at the start of the year. However, I have found them to be a good warm up and say a prelude to the H&A fixtures.

I strongly encourage punters to punt on them using a very small bank say even 2U with each bet worth 0.1U

If you do not want to part with your money, then draw a spreadsheet and practice. I highly recommend it.

How are they a good warm up? With nothing to play for i would assume the less you take in of it the better for the H&A season

Last season Brisbane won the NAB Cup and we all know how good of a form guide that was for the regular season

LOL. The NAB Challenge is by no means whatsoever of a form guide.

I was merely referring to the process of recording bets working out transferring money across book, ROIs etc. Its been about 5 months since I last placed a bet.

Being a North supporter i'm hesitant to put money on North when they are playing without a roof.

Sitting this one out and just enjoying the match.

LOL. Remember the debacle about when the roof was open and it was pouring with rain, I think it was your game against the Cats too.

Lol i think i remember how to do that still

LOL. True. As I said moving money around in preparation for R1 is what I am doing hence why I like having small insignificant wagers on the NAB challenge.

Also some of the books are good, offering "sign on bonuses" even though you are already a member with them.

I thought the same at first but apparently some of the Suns A-Grade players are out (Ablett is one of them)

Thats massive for them too losing Ablett. But they are maturing into what will one day be a super team. It will be interesting if they can keep hold of their squad with other Clubs offering bigger biscuits to their players ranked outside their top 10.

Anyone know a book that will take 10c bets?

1U - Collingwood HT/FT $2.10 (Sportsbet)

The pies looked really good against Geelong and I think they will be too strong for the Tigers, especially without the likes of Newman, Riewoldt, Maric, Grimes etc. Beams is out but Swan comes back for Collingwood

The only reason someone would bet on this game is if they have a compulsive gambling problem.

Its a 50-50 game on a ground neither team have ever played at.

Neither team has anything to play for.

Both teams will be playing bruise free footy.

Its essentially an exhibition match.

No different to any of the other NAB cup games pal

I better call Gamblers helpline because the Pies at $1.65 is too good to pass up on.

I get the feeling watching the Pies against Geelong that Bucks wants to hit Rd 1 up and running, they didn't play bruise free against Geelong and I can't see them wanting to play that way here.
