Frost, 40, 53 for 23

Going to need a lot of luck to get anything decent with picks 40 & 53 so this is virtually 23 for Frost. That's way too much to pay.

Yep. Membrey hasn't gone anywhere yet so we could've picked up Frost in the PSD. I think we've given up a little here to ensure good future relations when we come back for Shiel, Treloar and Cameron next year.

Agree totally. Terrible trade period for our footy club. Watched nearly every club around us shoot past us at a million miles an hour. Why oh why did we pull the trigger on Frost when we could have had him for nothing in the PSD???? That is a truly WTF moment right there! Laughable. Bunch of amateurs right there...

With Sam Frost going into the PSD there was a strong chance the Saints would take Petracca and then pick up Frosty in the PSD before us. This might force the Saints' hand with McCartin in the draft.

Yeah. Membrey will be taken by the Saints. So we had a freebie at PSD2

If Membrey doesn't get traded to St Kilda in the next 5 minutes, then you'd assume they would take him at #1 and we get Frost at #2.

Not the greatest value trade but you can't win them all, we wanted a future Key back and we got one
Now we can go an get 2 star players and a couple of projects
