The way I see it we've got eight coming in if we use pick 40 (including Stretch + Nev Jetta's upgrade) but only 7 going out at the moment (Clark, Blease, Strauss, Tapscott, Byrnes, Nicholson, Clisby).

If we make a PSD pick we're +2, so I think we're about to see a couple of contracted player executions. The only players out of contract in 2015 who I can see even the remotest chance of getting the chop are Evans, McKenzie and Hunt.

Petrenko's a delisted FA though, no need to take him in the PSD, that pick should have been for Frost.

Didn't realise he was a DFA, this makes it rather confusing regarding the Frost trade then. Still, I think the idea of Petrenko could work. Could potentially rotate through as an on-baller

It's possible we have no intentions of using any picks bar 2 and 3 (+stretch and Jetta upgrade). There are still delisted free agents and only a couple of guys out of contract for us to delist and make room on the list.

Maybe we used pick 23 because we weren't going to use it otherwise. I've not done the math, it's just an idea on why we traded for Frost. The club knows how the PSD works guys, if we traded for Frost there was a reason. And it's likely because he was a must get player.

That's what I think too. We have said we were aware of St Kilda interest and the saints list manager said they would have handled Membrey 'differently' if we hadn't have taken Frost today.
