I reckon he still looks fairly slim, just with low body fat.

He seems more like a leading forward than a pack-mark type - can anyone confirm?
Was described as a contested beast when dtafted. I believe Walshy picked him as a 'get out' contested marking option that we lacked in his eyes.

A bit of both. He's a big lad, strong, and a very good contested grab, although his shoulders may restrict this area. In his junior days he liked to wrestle one out in the square. Saw him play a bit last year, he moves really well as a hit up/leading type forward. Really impressive the few times I saw him.

Great to see the Rat up the front of the time trial result. Like a number of others 2016 is make or break

I think 2015 was that for RAt; a bad year might have seen him dumped. This year is more about taking it to the next level. But yeah, at this stage of his career every year is pretty big.

Good thing for mine is that a number of guys who have now or never seasons coming up are featured

That's a cop out excuse.

Play what is in front of you and leave the preconceived perceptions at the door.

This is a massive issue on this forum right now. The alleged reputations some people are supposed to have and it's total crap.
yeah its a fair point, but to go to the trouble of posting a screenshot from the same video that two seconds earlier showed the assistants in an open plan office seemed deliberately obtuse, which is also getting pretty familiar around here.

Sure you have a point but it's slowly becoming habitual across the entire board.

Evaluate the post you are reading and then play that post. Don't worry about what's gone on before hand. And I don't mean you per se, I mean everyone/anyone who is reading this.

News.com.au also reports a third 2km time trial was done at the end of the session and won by CEY over Ramsay, grigg, Smith and lever

I like seeing all of those guys up front

Extremely shocked not to hear about Knight being up the front of either of these time trials...

Who was interviewed today?
It was the Tom Lynch interview from yesterday ......10 minutes of my life lost

Difference between Melb/Sydney interviewing and Adelaide is a canyon apart

That strength and endurance training with McLeod must be paying off :thumbsu:

Was told in the last half hour that the club had planned that Troy Menzel would have been on a modified program until at least mid December however his rehab from off season surgery has been first class with extra sessions with Duncan Kellaway and his recovery is about 2 weeks ahead of the best scenario planned schedule

An early sign of improved professionalism

Ma boi! Great to hear.

Cannot contain my excitement for this recruit
