That'll only sharpen his focus. o_O When the Selwood Bros start waxing, Paddy will just go in and get it.
Why do you call him Figjam?...I think that's harsh.

You've killed your own argument right there, TEAM players don't just go in and get it they play to TEAM structures.

I recon Riley was the first victim in that game. right in the goal square.
Trust me I remember it and he rolled or turned to protect himself while on the ground and just touched an opponents legs. Goal to Essendon for a player protecting himself. It was a complete overreaction to implementing a new rule.

Crows will make top 4 in 2016, bookmark it.

I'm enjoying laughing at the garbage on the mainboard. This club made a semi final in the worst circumstances for any team in modern football, i mean beside from half the side getting suspended. It honestly seems like people have forgotten that the Crows went on to make a semi final after our head coach was murdered ffs. There is nothing the Crows cannot achieve and I look forward to the Crows proving the doubters wrong and in particular wiping that smug narcissistic campaigner smile off Patrick Dangerfield's face while he is ridden into the dirt as his new club goes down by 10 goals.

I only had to read the top line to put a "Like" on your comment. I don't read the main board but I might have a look. I hope they are talking us down big time, it will make the disbelievers so disappointed. I agree top four with a hard draw.

Might have something to do with Joel Selwood not taking part in any competitive work at this stage due to recovery from surgery......How ya reckon Figjam's going to take being No.2 Banana at the Cat's when Joel's back in the picture?

Well Patty is coming into his prime. Wouldn't surprise me if he brings a brownnose medal to the cattery.
Bloody predictive text.

Ok thank you teacher. Got it Dear...Dear...Dear. Just repeating it so I don't make same mistake again. Can hardly blame Hawks, guy hadn't completed a pre or season cos of persistent injury probs. Let's hope we can rub in the error of their non selection

It does seem strange that Hawthorn may have not selected Dear because of injuries and then select Burton a year later who may struggle to get over a badly broken leg.
It will be interesting to watch these two guys careers and see who has the better outcome.
Lets hope it is Dear.
He seems pretty quick and agile for a big fella.

Love that PD is the one thing you can be sure to read about in every AFC article in 2016 ...

Crows to play it safe with Brad Crouch after midfielder pulls up sore
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-02-...th-brad-crouch-after-midfielder-pulls-up-sore

"The Crows have high hopes for 2013's NAB AFL Rising Star runner-up to help cover the gaping chasm left by Patrick Dangerfield this year"

"Meanwhile, the Crows will soon announce their leadership group, with at least one change after Dangerfield's defection to Geelong, although Pyke confirmed Taylor Walker would remain as skipper.'

Yes why keep mentioning the guy .......it smacks of the AFC justifying to its supporters that everything will be ok

That quote about Danger is not from the AFC but by Travis King who wrote the article and has no affiliation with the AFC. It shouldnt have been posted in here as a quote as it comes across as though we stated this.

How so, are you telling me he has achieved more than Joel Selwood thus far in his career because if you are I see it differently as would a lot of AFL supporters.

Or maybe your reference is to Joel Selwood??
As of 2016 Dangerfield is the better player and would be the first to be tagged out of the two. Therefore, he is the first banana, thought that was fairly indisputable.

Past accolades and achievements are negligible and irrelevant here.

What's really irrelevant is something that hasn't happened yet and based purely on speculation.

Your basing opinion purely on "future" speculation which your entitled to but facts and figures do not support that..

Selwood averages .82 Brownlow votes per game, Dangerfield averages .66 per game, for Dangerfield to just equal Selwood's output to the same point in their career he needs to score 25 Brownlow votes in both of the years 2016 & 2017.

yeah but Selwood has been playing for a victorian club.

Dangerfield is now in front of Selwood - even most cats fans think this... Particularly now selwood is under a significant injury cloud & I suspect he will miss quite a few games this year.

LOL

And ask them same Cats fans before it became patently obvious Dangerfield was heading to the Cats do you honestly think they would have thought that or if he was still a Crow??

It's just the same "shinytoyitis" all club's supporters are guilty of, nothing more.

Yeah now that Dangerfield is playing for a Vic team he will most likely win a Brownlow. Then people are going to start banging on about how much he's improved at Geelong since moving from Adelaide. Bookmark it.

I remember this. I thought if this is the way the game is going I may as well stop watching.

Don Pyke on SEN's breakfast show:

Seedsmans first NAB cup game in 3 years. Should answer those questioning if he actually had interrupted preseasons previously.

He is going to be an exciting addition. Smith and the Seed tearing out of defence and bombing it 60m to Tex on the lead at AO!

Thanks for posting

And to think that I was actually accused by one particular poster for Bullshitting

Amazing the truth you find when people actually check the facts

Thanks for posting. Will have a listen. I wonder if Rucci will post another article about how poor it is from the Crows not getting Pyke in the media.

Roach - maybe the Crows just don't gift you interviews. Maybe if you stopped being a complete tool and endlessly promoting your own personal bias you might get interviews. Just a thought.
