This is the same injury, I'm not sure exactly why someone is highlighting that article, it's repeating what the club has been saying the past week.

It is odd wording - made it sounds like a new thing - that's why I highlighted it (that and the bit about the senior players starting early)

Nice to see the leaders in early-I suspect they have something to "prove" this season. Not a one man show.

No doubt they also realize it is imperative to get off to a good start.

Nice to see core members of leadership group out there early. Important that the club gets as much as possible out of this pre season. It's a shorter one than last year and they've got a new coaching group, new game plan, and fitness people as well.

Read's more like a basic overview of current status assuming the reader hasn't kept up to date on status of other players. Remember not everyone keeps such a close an eye on the status of each player as the average BigFooty poster! I know long term Crows members who wouldn't have a clue what the status of Brad Crouch is, and probably would've forgotten about him.

Rest assured, no new injury for Crouch. Nothing has changed since Burton's last detailed update. He will be mostly training separate form main group until after break.

As much as Lyons has his fans and is on his last shot, I would say Knight is ahead of him, especially after his ultra impressive Elimination final game. He has done more to earn his spot.

Milera is a question mark for round 1. You have to see how he goes in pre season.

Given Knight game against WB in the finals I just can't see how Lyons pushes ahead in the pecking order

I think Dmac's issue is too much security. His best football was preceding contract renewals. If the AFLPA would allow it, he should be on a week to week contract. He'd have 2 brownlows by now.

Was it, though? People say this as if he gave us some good reason to give him a 4 year contract...
