Port’s potential this year is over-rated. The only difference between this year and 2015 is they have an easier draw. They’ll still be playing the same structure as they did last year that didn’t work except Dixon swaps with Ryder (slight gain if he even stays on the park) and Polec will be back (which is probably the biggest difference). They might very well be better than us this year given our hard draw, losing our best player and a new coach but it certainly isn’t going to be a foregone conclusion like so many are making out.
On Rucci: he is just being an antagonistic w***er as usual in order to pander to Port supporters who are looking for any excuse to dig the boots in and who will always find something to whinge about concerning us. We will never do anything right in the eyes of people like that.
