I was also impressed by Tucker. His odd ball drop really stands out when you see him along side AFL standard players. I would have thought that the wind on Friday would have caused problems for the way his ball drop is but it didn't seem to phase him, he did turn it over a few times but I would put that more down to nerves and picking up the pace of the game. definitely one for the future!
Everyone of the younger posters seem to be experts on ball drop with in my opinion is an incorrect focus. The ball drops don't have to all be the same and in fact if the player can hit targets and kick goals when he gets an opportunity to take a shot then there is no issue with how they drop the ball. Focus on the outcome of his kicks and not the mechanics.:);):D

Some of the youngsters may not have seen their own yet, hence the confusion around ball drops DannyTheDoorman.

My ball drop's ****ing attrocious, and I've played kick to kick with a few posters so I've seen theirs too. Tuckers is almost perfect in comparison :p

I think you missed the subtlety of Dudley Docker's response. :) Unless in your generation kick to kick means something else.

Sounds like HB2 has a scaphoid injury, notorious for complications even with surgery.

Yeah it has something to do with the Scaphoid bone in his wrist. Like always I hope my info regarding bad news is wrong.

I was told that back in January. I haven't heard anything contrary to that.

Balic played with the injured wrist all last season and had it operated on in October last year and a pin was inserted. Had it scanned in Melbourne when he went home for Xmas. On his return the club medicos wanted a second opinion and he was to have another scan last week. And here we are a week later and he hasn't trained this week so the mystery in relation to his wrist injury continues. I spoke to him early last week and he said the pin will remain in his wrist. Hoping he gets a medical clearance soon and we can see him on the park.

If he is having complications from his previous surgery, then we won't see him for the year (or the vast majority of it).

Re-Balic Just saw the video from Dockers website where the boys trained down the beach and the 2 x Harleys were both there and Harley Bennel was in hanballing race witb Balic where he appeared to handball using both left and right hands. Video shows Sheridan in a different looking pair of checked shorts so he must be the style guru for the team.
Allikat So we know Balic was in WA yesterday :D salim malik

I'm pretty sure it is and the issue was he played a season of TAC knowing it.

My nephew won the F&B for one of the WAFL clubs and then broke the same snow boarding in the States. Didn't do anything about it until he got back to Oz much later. Hasn't played footy since despite loads of specialists looking at it, pins, grafts and other delights.

freoextra Scham Tucker wasn't at training either today so he and Balic must-have Langdon's flu that he had nearly 2 weeks ago.Balic was meant to have his wrist scanned last Tuesday as that is what he told me personally at training the week before.

The FFC website had a piece on the ETAF today. Said members of the public were a chance to be swimming laps next to our boys. I hope this community project doesn't expose the players to the ailments of the public :oops:o_O

That's how we were able to fund it. State government and federal perhaps, wouldn't have chipped in their amounts otherwise. It was a compromise we had to make to get it done.
