I'm a sucker for the use of secondary colours are the main basis for clash jumpers, but you need to be just as careful with socks...here's Port in the "turquoise" socks of the '90s:
Looks better than I was expecting.

Our away jumpers from then on just went straight downhillLove that Port guernsey. Under-rated.
Beautiful. Once they get properly established and don't feel the need to publicise their logo they should use this for sure.I made this a long time ago. It symbolizes the beach patrols uniform.
Port can't wear a black and white prison bar
Why not a black with teal stripes?
There are a couple of schools of thought on this.
a) It doesn't look as good. The black and white contrast really makes it. Not to mention, the white number panel is as much a part of the design as the front, and that wouldn't work well in teal.
b) The prison bars are sacrosanct and bastardising them isn't a good idea.
If we'd continued to run that Planet Teal guernsey design comp that we ran for a few years culminating in the adoption of one of them as our home guernsey, i'd love to have seen some teal prison bars in action, just to see how they look.
What's the thought process behind it?Here's my idea of what a new port clash would look like.

For those who haven't heard, West Coast is set to conduct a member vote to return the wings full-time in 2016. If the vote gets up, they're considering using wings design jumpers for training purposes for 2015.
After drawing this out for so long, you'd hope that they'll actually listen to the members. This decision has gone on for so long, that if they didnt, they will lose a considerable number of their fan baseI really hope this gets up!
On the other hand, is the clubs dumb enough to rig the votes?

That's the whole point of this poll. The people that would jump because of a jumper are the same people that would like the tri-panel - fair-weather supporters. After drawing this out for so long, you'd hope that they'll actually listen to the members.
