Losing Kreuzer would be like seeing Betts all over again.
It would be 10 times worse

So what pick are we talking here? I'd be furious if we surrender our 2nd round pick for him, even if he wasn't a druggie.
His best is handy but lacks consistency. I just don't see him re-inventing himself as a 40 goal/year forward and as a defender we already have Jamison & Rowe + White, Giles, Jaksch and Fields (and possibly Weitering). Let's not let one season leaking goals overstate our need for a mature age defender. Scoring power and midfield class are bigger problems.
I am working up a gobby as I type...Not a bad ball there. Hendo for Patton and #3 for Trealor.
Get to work on a ruck replacement if you can?
If Kreuzer does go I would suggest that our pick 3 and Geelong's 1st round (11) be coupled to retrieve Patton and GWS's first round (9).
Picks 3 & 11 <-> Patton & 9
Then we would ontrade 9 for Carlisle (don't want to, but the dons* won't accept much less and PSD leverage is gone).
Patton and Carlisle for Kreuzer and Henderson.
Weitering, Jamison, Tuohy
Docherty, Carlisle, Simpson
Thomas, Casboult, Boekhorst
Everitt, Patton, Walker
You know absolutely nothing about him, the club or his relationship to it.If Kruezer left I think it would be a total dog of an act ( no pun intended ). Club has done so much for him through the injuries and got very little back in return. FFS, players really don't appear to have any soul these days - all looking for a quick fix

if we are likely to draft Weitering, why would we bring in Carlisle?
If we are lacking payments to make the cap minimum, sign Cripps on a massive front ended deal so the in 5 years time when he should be on 800k he is on 200k, and we are manufacturing our own "COLA" fund.
He doesnt want to leave... he had that interview back a couple of weeks after he returned from injury stating that he wasnt interested in exercising his FA rights and just wanted to stay with the club forever.I'm hoping by his reaction after that goal yesterday he might want to stay.
Tom Hickey just re-signed for two years last week. He won't be on the table.Maybe we can get rid of Kruezer and then trade pick 12 for someone like Hickey or pick 30 for someone like Hampson.
On second thoughts lets just keep the one decent ruck man we have.
