Just interested to know how many Brisbane players have left in recent years compared to Carlton.
Kennedy, Jacobs, Betts, Laidler, Robinson, Garlett, Waite, Hampson and Grigg all playing at other clubs. If the rumours are true then we can add Kreuzer, Yarran, Bell, Henderson and Menzel. That is quite a list.

Well you're going right back to 2007...thats 8 years. Brisbane will definitely have more, and more young talented players like the go home 5.

EDIT: Also Brisbane are worse off than us because players they want to keep are asking to be traded out.
We actually basically forced Kennedy to be part of the Judd trade, MM didn't seem to like Ladler, Hampson was surplus and Robinson was no great loss.

because we win that by so far it casts doubt as to whether you're all there.

plus makes us feel like we're abusing the vulnerable.
Fair call but I love the idea about getting Weitering he could be an absolute stud in our backline for a decade. giving up 2 players that are stuck in the NEAFL a pick and Treloar who wants to go back to Melbourne doesnt bother me. Maybe the 4th rounder was a stretch

You have nuff picks. How 'bout share?

JK I am never happy to be wrong ... but this is one notable occasion I will gladly eat a couple of double helpings of H. Pie if I am in error.
All I can say I hope you are right because I am 58 years young and I want to see at least another flag (or two would be nice) to the other 8 I have witnessed live before I depart this mortal coil.

That sounds a tad greedy. My father saw 1 in 88 years.

I have checked most posts on this thread, but can't find anything about what Nick Maxwell said on the "Run home" on SEN this afternoon, that Kreuzer failed a medical test at Collingwood today? Maxwell, being and ex captain of and having some inside knowledge at that club, is pretty hard to ignore. Anyone else hear this, and what are the ramifications if this is true. Rumoured that he failed a medical test at The Bulldogs yesterday as well. It's all backfired for Kreuze and us as a Club, as we are anticipating a compensation pick (Hopefully Pick 2) for him. If this information is true, do we have to keep Kreuze maybe only on a year to year contract?

No we sign him on a 4 year and keep the experience that he would bring to our list. How many more players must we lose for meaningless draft picks and before anyone wishes to give me the "we are rebuilding and will he be around in our next premiership" let me answer that we have bern rebuilding for 10 plus years and have had our fair share of pick 1 and 2 and how ironic still no premiership...

We need to keep the likes of kruza, yaz and menz thwy are already made afl players who would get a game in most teams and if our football club is to succeed going forward we need that balance of youth and experience.

There was a guy a few years back who failed a medical at Collingwood and ended up playing in 3 premierships and winning a norm smith.

No no no.
The ox said Kreuzer had failed a medical at multiple clubs and maxwell said well he's heard nothing about him doing a medical at collingwood recently. Repeat. Maxwell said he knows nothing about him doing one at Collingwood. The ox wouldn't say what clubs probably because he's full of shit.

SEN now reporting that clubs have expressed concerns with Kreuzer allegedly asking for cash up-front, while nervously looking out the window at a car parked across the street, and clutching at his passport.

Solid source.

If Kreuze walks, Henderson and Yarran gets us first round picks we will minimum have 5 picks in the top 21.

I think I could bear the losses if we really back ourselves to find the cream of the crop

Maybe Menzel as well.

This may be true. You are referring to Stevie J. But what type of credibility do you attach to what Maxwell has said, given he still has inside contacts with his former club?

Although I am of senior years, (I had a hearing test only 6 mths ago and got the thumbs up) I don't think my hearing is affected just yet. Maxwell definitely said he heard that Kreuzer failed a medical test.
