Haven't checked in this forum beforehand, but when will be announcing our delistings if we haven't already? Other teams have done it to their lists already (Dogs, Tigers, Pies etc), when is ours happening?

Good question as exit interviews are over.

Maybe SOS needs to get a handle on what may transpire through the trade period first before we start throwing out players...?????

Anyway, there's no rush.

Only maybe one or two semi obvious guys that won't be here, even then - they may indeed get us something in a trade. Deadline for delistings is a while away so as Harks said, there's no rush.

my line of thinking is that since bolton has come in only recently this has delayed things a bit in comparison to other clubs who have coaches that know their players and would have an understanding of the year ahead prior to the end of season.
also dont forget we've had a few assistants and peripheral staff leave once we played our last game - hopefully their thoughts had been considered before leaving.
they will come...obviously, but probably a week or two after the teams youve suggested.
at least we know they arent rushing into these decisions.

So, an article on player movements vaguely linked Josh Walker (Geel) with Brisbane. With that in mind, how does the following look as a trade solution:

Carlton:
OUT: Henderson + Bell
IN: Pick 9 + Aish

Geelong:
OUT: Pick 9 + Walker
IN: Henderson + Pick 20

Brisbane:
OUT: Aish + Pick 20
IN: Bell + Walker

At a glance, Brisbane probably slightly behind on that deal, but not by a lot. Tough to split who's best off between us and Geelong - maybe us by a whisker? We could throw a late pick to Brisbane as well, or maybe an outgoing player (Warnock/Watson???)

I think aish is re-signing

Carlton aren't after Aish but are after another Brisbane player.

We will never land that. Not in a million years. Sorry.

Brisbane screwed over there and we are well in front. We'd have to hand another 2nd rounder to them.

Cats are getting fair value though.

Carlton is pursuing former No.3 pick from the 2012 Draft, Lachie Plowman who is reportedly seeking a move back to Victoria.

It's understood former GWS recruiting boss, now Carlon recruiter, Stephen Silvagni has a strong relationship with Plowman, a key defender, whom he drafted from the Calder Cannons.

The Blues are also interested in trading for Plowman's GWS ruckman, Andrew Phillips.

Plowman has only managed 20 games in the past three seasons, whilst Philips has been starved of opportunity, registering only 14 games during the same period.

Kreuzer did not fail a medical with the pies but Witts has refused to be traded as part of the treloar deal, pies saving face while backing away from the deal
Havent seen too much of Witts, but maybe we could get him to come to us if he doesnt want to leave melbourne?

Carlton - Out: Henderson, Kruezer. In: Pick 2, Plowman, Witts.
Collingwood - Out: Pick 7 and Witts. In: Treloar, Kruezer.
GWS - Out: Plowman, Treloar. In: Pick 7, Henderson.
