Bourke might develop into a Patfull type, but then again he might not. Stamina could be a factor, or maybe just his skills, size (193cm v Patfull 190) and desire. I think we also need to be a bit patient. Patfull developed his endurance over a number of years and his first few (particularly when delisted as a Port rookie) were nothing too inspiring. When he debuted with us he was 21y and 165 days and played forward quite a bit before settling down back. Bourke has, I think, just turned 20.

Robinson is growing on me already
MITCH Robinson has moved to Brisbane to change his off-field ways, but don't expect anything different from the former Carlton hard man on the field, as he plans on playing enforcer for his highly-paid midfield mates.

"I see myself playing a forward role and relieving midfielder, trying to put a few bumps on the taggers playing on the big dogs up here like (Daniel) Rich and (Dayne) Beams and those blokes that are pulling the cash," Robinson said.

"So I'll try and look after them."

Good to hear some positive news on Golby. I was quitely confident that he was going to improve last year but he seems to have slipped a fair bit in the pecking order. What are his chances of pushing best 22 this year.Has he plateaued or is he capable of enough improvement to push for a top 22 spot?.

Best thing I have read in here in a long time.
Thoughts on Richy playing HBF? A few posters were against the idea at the start of the season. IMO he has to play there now considering our midfield depth with players that can get the ball more often whilst getting the tag. Can't wait to have Rich setting up the play as the Quarterback next season and there will be no reason as to why he couldn't push up the ground and snag a goal a game.

Can anyone give me some kind of idea where they will be at around 12 tomorrow. I have the day off but will be busy till then. Really wanna get down and see them train. Pritty please.

Definatly. Good to see him running again.
And hearing that he is kicking off the half back flank in the game simulation stuff.
And not just running - running with no strapping.

That's a good sign.

They'll be at Yeronga Football Club from around 8am, don't know if they will still be there at 12 though. Will most likely head to the Gabba to do some weights.
