Would love to see Paine do well in 2015. Glad to see he is working bloody hard at the moment

It was pretty obvious from the few games I saw him play in last year that he was quite a way from full fitness. Carrying a fair bit was my impression. To be fair IIRC he didn't complete a full pre-season in 2014 so he would have been at a disadvantage.

Nevertheless I wouldn't be surprised if he was told a few home truths in the post-season review. Such as make this next season a good one or time will pass you by with all new models coming on line.

I think that with a full preparation he could well turn into a valuable forward option. Nine pair of hands and a good leap. Attacks the pill strongly.

Anyone with nine pairs of hands is always welcome on our team, unless he's just wandering around holding a pair of octopus

You say the most ridiculous things sometimes. People are trying to discuss serious stuff and it's bloody hard when you make comments like that. It's octopi.

Sorry I only learnt grammar not spelling

Close looking like a KPF at the start of pre-season; can't wait to see him after another 3 months of solid weight sessions :thumbsu:

Drafted at 82kg, started last season at 88kg and now listed on our website at 91kg...you'd expect him to enter next season around the 95kg mark.

196cm / 95kg KPF that can run 15 beep tests - yeah, think we may see a break out season ;)

35 - 40 goals should be his aim

And in about 2 years time?

Somewhere between Rougheads 100kgs and Franklins 102kgs please. :thumbsu:

Personally I don't think he will ever make it to the 100kg mark. His max ideal body weight imo would be around the 95kg mark but would probably be closer to 94kg. His lower half is what really makes it hard for him to find the extra 3-4 kgs with his legs and hips being somewhat on the small side. Having similar leg shape as him I know it is near on impossible to add major weight down there. Genetics and all...

This is very specific. Does that extra kilogram of Size Matter?

SizeMatters - I was just approximating but if you wish to be pedantic it might be worth noting that Roughy is listed as a centimeter shorter than MC - so the reply question to you could be, is Close longer in the upper/lower torso or legs? All of which might also be relevant to your 'ideal' body weight equation, yeah? ;)
