IIRC they have another week off. Could be wrong tho.
Yeah, I seem to recall robbo (Mitch) saying in one interview that he couldn't wait for the 17th to come around.

Nah, the inexperienced posters look up to me and I'm just trying to set a strong example for them. Mowing the mods lawns each week assures me a spot in the starting 22 each week.

God I wish mowing the lawns was the worst thing I've had to do over the years. Shudders.

Saw them out training pretty early at Yeronga this morning. I didn't hang around to see exactly who was there, but it looked like a pretty full compliment.

I reckon that's because a disproportionately large %age of our list is in that 1-4 year bracket.

Not 100% sure on the rules, but I imagine they would have unlisted players training with them too - or does that only happen post draft?

Post-draft, pre-PSD/rookie draft only (which isn't very long any more).

Brent Staker and Luke McGuane have also started pre-season training early. Great intent shown by the two injured blokes who will improve our side if they stay fit this year. My theory is that Leppa's obvious preference for youth has lit a fire under some of our senior players who face the very real threat of being dropped. Nonetheless, this shows a great attitude among the squad. Hope they train hard and carry some form in the 2015 season!

Bike appeared to be worth more than my car. It was very shiny
Some street sweeper probably ran over it.

For someone who used to be physically ill before Press conferences he has come along way. The way he talks about the club I cannot see him leaving. He has just become my new favorite Lion and dare I say a future captain of the club? Always seems to be the voice of that younger group of players would not be surprised to see him elevated into the leadership group this year.
