it was close to 70% humidity as well so it felt like the 40s for sure. I'd much rather a dry 40 than a mid 30s high humidity day.
This.
I work with a lady who has recently moved up from Victoria and is in love with the weather, she'll learn soon enough.

Then 4 groups were formed, and kicking drills. They rotated around the ground, Gary O'Donnell was managing this, was really loud as well, and most of them hit targets comfortably. Lester still struggled with basic kicks :(. Pretty sure I saw Cutler and Robbo swear at each other after a missed lead or something, good to see the young guys fired up.

Sorry for the late bump/reply, but as to the bolded, Robbo was annoyed that Cutler didn't say anything while they were running the drill. Robbo said "Cuts, use your f*cking voice!" to which Cuts gave a reply and then added "...say something f*cking positive" but I watched them as they left the huddle after the group chat and both were hugging each other and seemed to be shrugging it off.

I am glad there is fire in the belly from some of our younger players.

May be able to get to training tomorrow, no camera though but I will try and get something up straight after or late in the evening.

The highlighted is about Pearce and Colm Begley.

Hanley cruised through the game, he looked pretty sharp for someone just back from his holidays and laid some very nice tackles. His kicking was a little bit off though, which is understandable. If anyone is watching next weekend, don't be surprised of he gets in a dust up or two, he was showing quite a bit of (healthy) aggression even in a low paced warm up game. Plus I would be very surprised if he doesn't cop a tag from someone like Kieran Jack next week.

Not much to report for this morning. Basically just improving fitness by continually running repeat 200m's. They also did a little ball work in which they had to get it through some goals by hand while trying to keep it off the opposition. Everyone (new recruits as well) was there except for Rocky, Hanley and I think Clayton. Cian was there and he is all skin and bones at the moment. He was walking laps with Bundy and Sauce. Bewick was well ahead of the front group in the repeat running. Robbo pushed himself too far again and needed to sit out due to the heat. Leuy is looking good as well.

Few members of the hospital group, Squizzy, Bundy, Goose to name a few. Goose was running laps though.

DBeams, Rich, MRobbo, Dizzy, Bourke and CBeams were on restricted duty and spent most of the time on the bikes or watching the others running or handballing.

Lots of voice and plenty of competitive aggression from everyone.

Has anyone bulked up noticeably at all? Seen a picture of Clarke sporting the new jumper and he is looking like he has the post workout pump going. Hoping he can add at least 3-5kgs since last season and be close ot pushing the 100kg by next year.
You're obsessed, son.

Clarke, Close and Cutler look bigger to me. Staker has also put on considerable bulk up top also.

Makes sense, VCE exams officially finish this week, though a lot of students finished last week.

Would we be expecting players to have bulked up much anyway by now? Presumably only if they had taken it on themselves to do so. Would have thought that will come, if at all, over summer.

Robbo's work ethic is outstanding. Come Grand Final day and there is a loose ball with Robbo and his opponent running for it at a crucial point in the game I would be at ease as I know that Robbo would do everything humanely possibly to win.

He will be one of our most important players next season, top 3 in my power rankings. Needs to be able to contest for longer periods in a game against the bigger forwards. Having more mass will help in that regard.
Your posts make you sound like Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
