If you're looking for reasons why SDT might bounce back, I can think of 2:

Played through a lot of niggles in 2014, including cracked ribs at one point.
Once Hansen and Tippett were injured that pretty much left Firrito as the second KPD, which meant SDT wasn't freed up to rebound as much.

Obviously nothing's a sure thing, but there's reasonable hope.
Personally i think he had slightly down year (maybe 5 points). Apart from 2013 all his averages have been between 77-88. I think he is likely to stay within that range again. If he ends at the lower end (77-83) he will likely need to be traded. However, if he ends up around 85-88 he could be handy at D5-D7 for the season.
SDT SC scores 2009-2014:
2009 - 80.8
2010 - 77.1
2011 - 84.7
2012 - 87.8
2013 - 98.2
2014 - 78.6

Pegging that series as a flat 77-88 isn't really fair though. It's an upward trend with a high and a low outlier in the last 2 years. Best fit through his scores looks like this, which would have his expected return around 90. He's still in his prime so no age-related dropoff expected yet.

Interesting they have said Rampe will be some mid time, well he was a SC mid in hes rookie year.
Where does this leave TMitchell?
I like rampe but unsure if he will av 85-90 plus priced at 400k.
Also dont mind Harbow for a little more.

Agreed with Harbrow, had a good relationship with Eade when at the doggies, so hopefully will be given plenty of run.

Also agreed with Titch. Already enough competition in Sydneys midfield adding more rotations doesn't look good for players like Titch who are not yet in the starting midfield.

They will both need 100's if they go Rohan, Jetta and McVeigh in defence.

Rohan is a spud (possibly talking as a SC burnman candidate)

Jetta can play and would make a great halfback, altho a smart opposition coach may try and isolate him 1on1 but thatis very rarely allowed to happen these days, his run is electric
McVeigh would make a great qtr back. his decision making is excellent and his calming influence might be just what the swans need

With us potentially needing to look for mid-pricers down back unless a few rookies pop up, Ricky Henderson spikes my interest. From what I can tell looking at the Adelaide board he seems fit and raring to go, and nearly everyone seems to slot him straight into that rebounding half back role. Someone to watch in NAB

Th
Joel only played 4 games 6,7,bye 9 and ten.
Scotty scored dnp rd 6 rd7 61 v suns rd8 v 77 brissy and rd ten 59 v cats.
Thanks very much Rocker.
I'm surprised as I thought he might have played a "looser role" and scored better in those games.

Getting desperate now, tiges fans, chances of vlastuin becoming an 85-90 player this year?

Seriously think Vlas could step up this year, not 85-90 but 75-85 is in the ballpark. Permitted Hardwick thinks he's completed his apprenticeship in the backline.
Watch in NAB to see how much of a go he gets in the guts. Reminds me a lot of Cunnington in how he goes about it.

Defenders really suck atm. I can't see a rookie that I'm confident will actually play.
I'm very confident Dan McKenzie will play rnd 1 for us.

Hearing a lot of great things :thumbsu:

What about the new Goddard at the Saints?
Hugh is another one who could play early games, since Josh Bruce will be playing foward this year but as a KPD I assume he is irrelevant SC wise.

Goddard is starting from a low base money wise in SC, as long as he plays at least 5 or 6 early games he'll get a nice price rise (assuming he isn't green-vested).

Early thoughts on Fuller?
