Charlie Dixon went down at training today holding his knee.. Gone for scans, dodged a bullet there
He'll be fine. Pretty sure it's just clickbait.

Not sure how we dodged a bullet? That could happen to any of our players. :p

Charlie is looking bigger though compared to when he was at GC. He looked in those pictures to be about 110, when he was 105 at GC.

Had a lot of trouble getting on the park at 110kg.

They sure do! When they're training in Metricon they've got the stadium speakers blasting music, which is pretty cool. I thought it was normal, but judging by that article it's apparently not.
Not many clubs have the ability to train in their own stadiums.
I think we are one of the only ones

My point was less about the stadium and more about the music :p

Music has been proven, time and time again, to improve training performance. That's why I'd assume that it would always be played during training.

But still, you make a good point. The Suns have it pretty good being able to train in their own stadium. The only other teams who can do that year round would be Geelong, maybe?

Swans and Giants get kicked out of their stadiums during the cricket season don't they?

Yeah i was trying to think. I would say Geelong are the only other ones as most of the grounds are used for cricket commitments.

I actually think K is giving a great insight.

Players cant have opinions in media or on public forums unless specifically told they can. They are told to, and do toe the company line in all sorts of ways.

K did a whole different thing to what the Essendon boys got lumped with. I feel no sorrow for K. But im disappointed in him. The Dons players are blameless im my opinion, as they are young men doing what they are told is good for them. I wonder if clubs give out vitamins and antioxidants etc, and the players just swallow them fully trusting, still, even now?

This. x 100

Could have and probably has happened to more than one club. Essendon were the unlucky ones that got caught

Imagine the paranoia of taking stuff OTC when you have guys like Crowley getting pinged for it, but then you do what the club says and the 30 odd essendon players get pinged just the same.

What do you do?

Hasn't really said anything that 100 other people haven't already said - hardly mind blowing

He can take his insight and snort it up his nose, that should at least make his insight mind altering

GCFC Digital

Just giving you a heads up. BLK are smashing your prices.. With there Sale atm

http://www.blksport.com/pro-teams/gold-coast-suns.htm

Why would you buy a 2015 media polo rom the Suns for $60 when
you can get the 2016 version from BLK for 64

Or

On Field jerseys for $110 from GCFC.com
Or
BLK for $88 inc personalisation

This is just a snippet of it, there's much much more.
The clubs practically throwing money away letting BLK under cut.

Up to the club what they choose to do, I'm sure the Suns faithful would prefer to buy from the club were all the profits go back to it.
But when the merchandising department are to lazy to keep up with what else is out there.. The Club misses out on the Sales.

Cheers mate.

not sure how many people would even know about the blk sale. as far as i'm concerned, the more suns guernseys being bought the better, regardless of if they buy it from the suns or blk directly haha. i reckon a pretty high percentage of guernsey sales would come on gameday anyway.

also, GCFC Digital is away for a little bit i think.
