Just throwing this out there guys:
If you're a top team thinking that you might be able to push for a flag, I'm willing to trade my older players (Burgoyne, Enright, Cooney, Pavlich et al.) fairly cheaply - future picks, young fringe players, pick swaps, that sort of thing. Shoot a message my way!

Seeing as I haven't gotten much response in the past:

Given my terrible start to this season, I'm looking to dump all my old players and I won't be asking for much. Unless stated below, I'd be willing to trade the below for late future picks, or minor pick upgrades, as well as any player of your choosing for an "effective" delisting (so I'm not forced to use a signing).

Shaun Burgoyne
Corey Enright
Scott Thompson (NM)
Stefan Martin, provided I get a job secure ruckman in return (doesn't matter how bad)
Chris Mayne
Adam Cooney
Lynden Dunn

I get that some of these players will be no better than the last player on the squad for some of you, but for others, especially for the Backs, could provide some handy depth for the low-low price of a future pick swap upgrade and a player you'd probably delist anyway - and it won't cost you a signing!

I was waiting for this moment! This could be interesting

Trade Alert

Warriors receive
Jackson Thurlow and Raiders 2017 Second Round pick

Raiders receive
Billy Stretch

Rockford to confirm

Billy has been in great form the last month or so, firstly in the VFL and now at AFL level. Impossible to know what his base line will be or whether he can hold multi position status long term, but at 19 years old is looking very promising. Too early to say what scope he has long term, though he has always been an accumulator, starting from his SANFL days.

Thurlow may not post the same numbers, but will always play back and injuries aside is a lock across half back for Geelong. ACL injuries are not what they used to be, and though there is a risk, I think this is off-set with the draft pick which should be between pick 25-28, which in itself is a round earlier than Stretch was originally selected last year.

Trade is a historical one for Dynasty League in that it is the first to include a future draft pick

mrpez receives: Ben Cunnington

Warriors receive: George Horlin-Smith, mrpez's 2017 4th round selection, and mrpez's 2018 1st round selection.

mrpez to confirm.

I will update the draft trade tracker document this weekend - I still have to add the last trade I did with Rockford, but have been waiting for this one to be finalised.

Just putting this here so that it is in the correct thread.

I am really glad I delisted Hayden Crozier so I could select Dougal Howard.. sorry to gloat, I am just so happy I can't help myself..:'(
Haha, I was ready to pounce.....about time i got one the other way though. Delisted menzel and sutcliffe. Gave up sheridan for a packet of chips.

I know trading is off limits for the minute, but I'm not playing finals so I think that means some of can still trade.

Anyway still happy to talk.

Players the sparrows will give up for low picks/upgrades:

Crocker. Kennedy Harris, Ambrose, Nathan Van Berlo, Farren Ray, maybe Ryan Lester

Naismith also available but he holds some value especially after getting a game and being a ruckman.

Warriors have made their final FA selection for the year, and therefore would like to Welcome Lewis Pierce to the Warriors FC. Pierce comes in to replace Sam Durdin, who funnily enough was my last FA selection last season.

Now that is all done and dusted, it is a good time to reflect on the trading and drafting season that was, for the Warriors during the 2016 Season.

Changes from Post Draft to Now:
OUT:
- Adam Marcon (tried a strategy that just didn't work. Wasted both a draft pick AND a Free Agent pick to get rid of him)
- Hayden Crozier (I had stuck by Crozier for what seemed like forever, but decided to dump him JUST BEFORE he decided he didn't want to play WAFL anymore.. this is not looking good)
- Jake Townsend (same as Marcon. So that is TWO picks wasted and TWO FA picks wasted.. Not a good start..)
- Mitch Hallahan (I wanted the free list space, so traded him for essentially a small pick upgrade in the coming draft.. this is embarrassing)
- Billy Stretch (Not wanting to trade out, but Thurlow AND a Second Round draft pick was too good to refuse.. this could turn around)
- Ben Cunnington (No point having only ONE player with better than above average Handball and Tackle stats - the Inside Mid exodus continues in exchange for the first future draft pick traded - and a First Round one at that. Hoping for some delayed gratification. I am getting some handy picks here, things are looking up)
- Sam Durdin (I thought I had a bargin getting him as a FA last year, but patience grew thin, and I needed the list spot. Probably should have remembered about delayed gratification, but not worthy of a list spot at the minute)
- Third Round draft selection (traded to Tutty as part of a deal to get a Second Round pick. I am consolidating draft picks 6 months out..)
- Fourth Round draft selection (traded to Tutty as part of the Hallahan deal)

IN:
- Corey Wagner (I was originally going to select him in the Draft. glad to right my wrongs and pick him up. Surprised to see him get a few games, more surprised to see his wang on the internet)
- Dougie Howard (Besides the fact I delisted Crozier to add him to my list, he was a bit of a let down after been given plenty of games for Port. I am happy to have him on my list, but will miss awhile with an ACL)
- Declan Mountford (I considered him in the Draft after watching a NAB Challenge game where he looked pretty good. I think he will be a good player)
- Jayden Hunt (Jumped on him early, after a strong pre-season. Has played some exciting footy, and helps off-set the loss of Stretch as another exciting young Demon)
- Jackson Thurlow (Rockford and I have traded Thurlow back and forth several times. I had traded him to Rockford as part of the Heppell trade in the off-season, but he did his ACL, so we did the dance again. I am wary of trading in injured players, so will wait and see)
- Col O'Riordan (Got him from Tutty in a complicated trade, but basically replaces Cunnington on my list with a few nice picks thrown in. First year playing AFL Footy. Looks good with several games in the NEAFL where he has been in the bests. Worth a punt, and thought I had to go early otherwise somebody else would swoop)
- Lewis Pierce (More for list management than anything else. Third Ruck at the Saints, but rising fast. If Hickey misses it is no use having Longer on my list if he is not playing. Having the trio should ensure I am always able to play a full side, and at least one Ruck - well worth my last FA pick)
- Second Round draft pick (Tutty - got this pick along with O'Riordan in a trade involving Horlin-Smith who I received from MrPez in the Cunnington trade, and a couple of third rounders. A good trade all round I think)
- Second Round draft pick (Rockford - received along with Thurlow in exchange for Stretch. At worst an insurance policy on Thurlow. At best, well we will have to wait and see..)
- Fourth Round draft pick (MrPez - received as part of the Cunnington deal. Usually this is where I have my first pick after trading out all my earlier picks..)
- Future First Round draft pick (MrPez - This is very exciting. I have THREE first round picks I can trade this off-season!)

In my head it looks like this:
- Ben Cunnington, Mitch Hallahan and 3rd round pick for Future 1st round pick, 2nd round pick and 2nd round pick.
- Hayden Crozier and Billy Stretch for Jackson Thurlow, Jayden Hunt and Col O'Riordan
- Adam Marcon and Jake Townsend for Corey Wagner and Declan Mountford
- Sam Durdin for Dougie Howard and Lewis Pierce

I think it looks better in my head, but we all say that..

Being able to trade draft picks has certainly helped me this season. I imagine that will be used quite a bit going forward.

We are off to a slow start trade wise this off-season, but to start things rolling I am interested in trading draft picks for a couple of mid/forward types

I have my first rounder, Tutty's second, my second, Rockfords second and MrPez's fourth.

I also have my and Pez's future first rounders
