In other non serial killer news, Tim Bresnan has been signed as a replacement for David Willey at the Scorchers. Handy bowler with good experience and not a total mug with the bat......could be an astute pick-up.
Meant to add that he was signed because Willey won't play the entire Big Bash owing to England commitments, so Bresnan is effectively a swap instead of a replacement - apologies for any confusion.
Be disappointing to lose Willey's death bowling but Bresnan is significantly better with the bat and can definitely launch them.
All in all far too many Poms for my liking though!
Probably the best replacement we could get but Willey has simply been the best bowler in the league and will be missed greatly.

It was an honest question as I was just following it on twitter - we packed up the tv two weeks ago!
Sorry. I only managed to see the second innings. The bowling was OK, always some bad balls but really just some great batting. Lynn seemed to pick every slower ball by our fast bowlers and hit them for boundary after boundary. Some were good balls, some were miss-hits that still went for 6. Slower balls are usually standard fare and a valid tactic for fast bowlers, but not for a man in that kind of form. His head is just so still, he picks it up so early, and his bat-speed and strength are incredible.
Lynn is definitely a T20 batting freak!That is the beauty of the WACA pitch,the ball comes on to the bat perfectly.And with the new modern day bats, 'lookout'....
It's going to be sad seeing cricket played over the river at Burswood stadium next year that's for sure!
