Huh? Na... just found TBDs interpretation on academy a big strange. He is a big boy and can handle it if it comes across as hard hitting or fight picking... which it aint

Can we still bid on him in the draft just like any other academy kid.So you dont know whether he is a part of an Academy?
Edit: just looked it up and he is a part of West Coasts Next Gen, that sux.
Yes, and then they will have to match if they want him.Can we still bid on him in the draft just like any other academy kid.
I think Archie may have been overtaken. He has a great leap and showed some promise, but ..... he just needs to do more.anyone think archie will get much of a run this year? McInerney named in jlt 2 over archie
mcinerney is our future i think so i think that could be trueI think Archie may have been overtaken. He has a great leap and showed some promise, but ..... he just needs to do more.
I agree he might take a bit more time.Archie imo could still be a fantastic ruckmen, gotta remember how long it takes ruckmen for the most part. His contested ability and tackling is fantastic for a big man. When he is at the contest he has a big impact on them. Just really needs to improve his marking and getting around the ground a bit better. I still think he should be persevered with, Martin ain't a spring chicken and McIrney is yet to show anything at AFL level
The initial information released from the AFL also mentioned indigenous Australians who live outside the major metropolitan areas. Pretty sure there was something about, while many such communities may play football, individuals from such communities may struggle to adapt to a professional environment or move away from there communities, etc.
Lack of talent I believe.Pardon the pun....but why is Jack Frost being left out in the cold. As a senior player...can't even crack it onto an extended interchange or emergency for a practice match. No idea what we are paying him, but it must not be safe to assume he has checked out. Must be just hanging around for the cash.
Why did we get him again?
Because Harris Andrews was 19, McStay was a key forward and we hadn’t drafted Payne or Eagles.
frost was best available, to us, at the time. We need to stop second guessing the recruitment. He has had concussion issues which hasn't helpedI still don't see the point

400$ x3 may have been mentioned at some stageNot to mention we gave up nothing much for him.
Do you think that's likely? I suspect not.400$ x3 may have been mentioned at some stage
I would hope not but I guess we have to meet our salary cap obligations somehowDo you think that's likely? I suspect not.
Frost is basically on minimum wage + performance bonuses (which aren't being hit it's fair to say).
He isn't on a Chris Mayne contract.
By whom? I think the contract length is correct but I struggle to believe that dollar amount without seeing if the mentioner is credible.400$ x3 may have been mentioned at some stage

PossiblyFair to say we may have quite the warchest come trade week this year with all our youngsters already signed up and a bit of dead wood to still come off the list at year's end. I remember Noble stating that getting Cameron in was an anomaly as 2018 trade week is when we'd start looking for holes in our list to fill by trading in.
Definetely think after losing Rockliff and 4 forwards off our list we are light on in certain areas. Don't know why they didn't go after a ready made mature player like Tim Kelly or Zac LangdonPossibly
Not the correct thread, but Noble stated a 3 year focus on the draft with this being last of that time frame. Would like to think that we might be able to look at some of the state leagues this time around as other clubs have seemed to have success and also getting players in from other clubs either through FA or via trade.
