Sounds like they dont know how to fit everyone in the team.

I think we are in a bit of an awkward time with the state of our list.

We topped up with KPP in 2016/17 knowing that some of our KPP would be retiring in the next few years, and now we need to figure something out in the meantime until that day comes.

While it might be a bit of a nuisance at the moment one day soon we won't have JK and Bunga and it is good to know we have KPP's already lined up and hopefully ready to go with OA, Brander and Rotham (if you can call him a KPD).

Rotham’s not a KPD but he’s a good Sheppard replacement for when Sheppard replaces Hurn

Agree, which is why I put that in brackets. Point I was trying to make is the club is sitting on those 3-4 playerwaiting to transition them in as we need to transition our list over the next 2 years and it has created a bit of a back log.

Would much rather be in this position than that of Geelong who is scrambling to try and find players to fill the holes that will be left in their list when their big guns retire.

Allen will almost certainly play forward. Brander should be given a crack in defense, taking Schofield's position. Waterman seems to be earmarked as a HFF, he had the spot nailed down as of the finals, so I assume he gets to start there. Masten is out and T.Kelly walks in to the midfield (with a rejig to replace masten on the wing).

“I had a really good break. We had a trip to Cambodia with the club and travelled a bit of Asia. I then came back and completed my off-season program.” Oscar Allen on his off season

“First and foremost I’m looking forward to getting back into full training. I had a bit of a knee issue, had a clean out at the end of the season and I’ll re-join full training in the coming weeks.” Allen on preseason

“We’re stoked. He’s a ripping bloke and I can’t wait to see him out here. I was in at the club the day went the trade went through so I met him then.” Allen on Tim Kelly joining the club

“As a club we’re really disappointed. We’ve got Liam’s back and as a playing group it’s about supporting him. It’s really sad that he had to deal with this. As a club we’re here to support him and wrap our arms around him.” Allen on Liam Ryan

“He’s up in the Tiwi Islands, and he’s getting support from his family and the club.” Allen on Rioli

“We probably weren’t playing as well as we could in the start of a year. We probably missed a few opportunities late in the season. But we’ve got to focus on training and getting ready for when the senior players return in a few weeks.” Allen on 2019

“We’re not looking at that, we’re looking at training and building relationships with Tim and in a few weeks our draftees. Getting as fit as possible is our focus right now.” Allen on 2020

Nissie and Vosso can pull the string in his back and the right words will come out of his mouth.

The kid is going places.

I hope that they take their time with him. Shouldn’t be captain for at least another 3 years.

After Bunga should be someone else and then Allen as captain

Just some stationary ball work and then some circle work going on... Jetta here on first day. Tim Kellys ball use brilliant and he looks bigger than our 1-4 year which is to be expected.
Brander and Allen have bulked up.
AInsworth is very slim and hasnt done a thing to fox his kicking action.

Is that Brander to the left of Kelly?

I think this is the issue with players getting to draft age with these big technical flaws. Ainsworth has probably been working his arse off on that action but ten's of thousands of hours of muscle memory just isn't easily set aside.
