??I think my taint has more credibility than Champion data, however my taint is pretty knowledgeable
I don't think it matters too much who we send to the bushfire relief game as they would be playing our first preseason game anyway around the same time if we didn't send them. The only down side I guess is we have less control over their workload in the
bushfire relief game and where and how they are played. So given that, if it was my decision, I would only send one player from each line (i.e. only one mid, one defender and one forward). Not two mids (i.e. Shuey and Kelly - even if on different teams). Also, given Kelly needs to gain experience in the Eagles system, he really should be playing in all of our preseason games as a preference. But as I said, not sure it matters too much.
Petch would be a good one to send as he would provide some excitement for the game. Not sure Duggan would provide any excitement (which is not a criticism, as he is a handy player, but I assume the object of the match is to create a spectacle of a game with the best and most exciting players). Allen would be good but he may be held back from early preseason games given he was recovering from injury not so long ago and our potential defender injury issues? Not sure where he is at, although realise he is full training now.
From the west:
Delisted Cat to train with West Coast
Eagles football manager Craig Vozzo said the talented forward had several traits which interested the club.

Former Geelong forward Jamaine Jones will train with West Coast from next week in a bid to press claims for the club’s Supplemental Selection pick to round out their list.
Jones joins former Fremantle forward Brady Grey and West Coast’s WAFL top up player Nic Reid in the race for either one or two spots on the list.
Jones played seven games for the Cats as a teenager in the 2018 season but did not play AFL at all in 2019.
Eagles football manager Craig Vozzo said the talented forward had several traits which interested the club.
“He is coming next week for a couple of weeks as an SSP player,” he said.
“He is another one in the running.”
“We think he has strong natural defensive tendencies and has a capacity to repeat high end efforts. That is how we like our small forwards to play.”
J
Jones had kicked four goals in his seven games for the Cats in 2018.
Reid was thought to be ahead of Grey in the race for a spot.
South Australian Isaya McKenzie had also impressed the club but had succumbed to a serious knee injury over the summer.
Vozzo said the Eagles had a number of ways they could go and it should not be assumed that only one player would be added to the list.
It was possible to put two players on, or leave a spot open and weigh the options again at the time of the mid-season draft, he said.
Would like to see more All Stars (being West Australian), reckon it will be Kelly, Yeo and Gaff.
Touch wood, they are all durable players. NN and Shuey to a less extent present small risks (NN big risks).
Nelson, Ainsworth and AhChee feels about rightHmm I'd be happy to risk our players for WA, but not for the All-Stars. They'll raise the money regardless and I really don't care who wins this.
I reckon pick good, durable players. Gaff, Yeo, Shep for mine.
A taint is the area between your ball sack and your anus
Biggest takeaway from that is Vozzo saying it’s possible to put two players on. Means that they plan on placing either Rioli or Venables on the LTI list to open up that 2nd spot
He was out of the race when his lard ass couldn't get out of the car at HQ."Pickett is no longer training with the Eagles and is out of the race"
Oh well.
.....and HQs were a good sized car!He was out of the race when his lard ass couldn't get out of the car at HQ.

As far as I can tell, The WCE have 38 players on the primary list, (The minimum amount allowed) 5 on the cat A rookie list, (Allowed 6 due to only having 38 players on the primary list), and 0 on the cat B list.
There should only be one rookie spot available.
Unless some creativity occurs to create another rookie spot such as Venables to the long term injury list or Rioli being transferred somewhere off the primary list.

Send Brander.......the Vics will surely lose.
Hopefully we grab him and he gets to kick a goal AGAINST THE TEAM THAT DIDN'T WANT HIMWell he’s my favourite for the spot purely so (if he succeeds with his second chance) we can remind Geelong that he was literally right under their noses before becoming a jet with us
All aboard the JJ train
So final few seconds, Vardy marks on the wing, passes to Kelly who spots up Jones who then goes back and slots it through the big sticks meaning another Eagles win.Hopefully we grab him and he gets to kick a goal AGAINST THE TEAM THAT DIDN'T WANT HIM
