Setterfield was close and could of easily got the 1 vote, Walsh could easily of been ahead of McKay, however I feel he gets preference given some of the diabolical entries he had to try to clunk.

I rate Setters and Dow's efforts because they are young but playing right in the coalface. I thought along with the skipper they largely matched guns like Cotch, Dusty, Edwards and the Meatball. Dow plays hard. No wonder he looks puffed at times. He uses plenty of power and at times wastes some energy with unnecessary chases trying to do the right thing. Another preseason and we've got a really good player.

Setters is a natural. He gets where the ball is going to be. Constructive player. And poised. Like Dow, one more preseason with Russell and look out.
