I can't speak for other stadiums but the traffic control out of Santa Clara post game is absolutely horrendous. It was bad at Candlestick too. I remember my first game at Candlestick and noticing how the stadium was almost empty with 10 minutes to go...and that was when they were winning.

However, to the photos in the original post...I'm pretty sure most were taken from preseason games.

Sorry, bud. More a rhetorical question.

That was more in reference to bomberokayboy havin a whinge about gambling-talk in the thread.

[Tim Kawakami] On Monday Shanahan said Kittle never asks for pass plays called for him, always suggests run plays. Today I asked Shanahan what kinds of run plays Kittle asks for. Shanahan said it's not specific plays, more like defenders he wants to hit.

Kittle gets upset and yells at Shanahan when the offence is passing the ball and we're up, and he wants us to run it. He's a different but amazing character

watching a few of the 'analysts' shows/predictions has lead me to believe that the 49ers handing the Packers their asses on a plate was a bad thing...Apparently that only hepled the Packers improved and showed the 9ers weaknesses

let me sum thus up....49ers d is good but not great, it is easy to adjust too as long as Rodgers get out of the pocket. 9ers d is way too predictable. Jimmy G is poo and once he throws a pick (apparently he throws 4 a game) it is over and Shanahans run game isn't that great and their are no offensive weapons

Are you ****ed, campaigner??

Is the analysis you're seeing based in Seattle??

All I'm seeing is 'packers will give it a shot, but will not be able to handle the niners, niners by 1-2 scores' which is probablu correct.

maybe re-evaluate where you're reading/watching!

A lot of people like him but I can't listen to Sims. For good reason it seems.

Not only do I find him annoying to the ear, but I believe that buttoned up top button shirt without a tie people shouldnt be allowed to do any podcast involving a camera.

**** going into these awesome games with Mcgregor making a come back then the Aussie Open starting after it. I just died and went to heaven.

BOOM!

Simms is probably the best or one of the best going around. BTW he picked San Francisco by 7 which is basically the spread so idk why you're having a melt about it. Going throw a riot in Vegas if it's such an issue

It's one of those first impressions last things with me regarding Simms

Reckon the first vid I saw of him on YT was an interview he did with Big Ben and I remember him asking Ben what grip he used and Simms saying he used exactly the same and how awesome it is that they both use it, then to make matters worse he puts out his hand for an awkward fist bump to Ben like they are kindred spirits for using the same grip......the amount of cringe was epic.

Yes he's cringe sometimes but he's also a genius

Green Bay can definitely plan for success with the short passing game both in the flats and to backs out of the backfield. Also utilising draw plays once they force the 9ers front to lose discipline. Early on I'd look for them to mainly run 3 step drops using the slant/flat concept and flare routes, similar to what they and NE did against Seattle in 2014 to effect. Take the pass rush out of the game and let the Oline assert themselves. Then as the defense (hopefully) becomes frustrated, incorporate the deeper drops but then hit them with the draw plays to gash them up the middle against the wide 9 front. Overall I think the Packers can scheme for success, but in the 2nd and 4th quarters the 49ers will show they are the better team.

All year the Packers have struggled stopping what the 9ers do so well. PA, throws over the middle, etc. 2 games in a row now Shanahan has had his way with Pettine, and I don't expect it to change this time. Unless the Packers ILB's (who are their key to success on this side of the ball) and secondary take every chance that is given to them by Garoppollo (and thus setting the offence up with short fields), I can't see them winning.

After a relatively competitive first half, San Francisco will pull away, with the Packers scoring a late TD to bring it back to 14.

GB: 7 - .3. - 0 - 7 - 17
SF:c7 - 10 - 7 - 7 - 31

I don't like the fact we haven't travelled early... We've been pantsed in both WC games thus year, surely we change it up??
I think this is the change. The chargers game we went down early and some spent the firday night on the town apparently drinking.

They left at a good time. Let them do a walkthrough either at home before the fights or in the hotel ballroom. And left before the snow hit.

Have tried to absorb various opinions, content and predictions about the game throughout the week.
In general, it seems that the prevailing consensus is that the Niners will win due to having a superior collective (eg. RB, D-Line, coaching), which certainly bears out in DVOA and similar rankings, and for overall season record. But the playoffs depend on results on one day, in one game, and when you consider who you can trust down the stretch in an individual game. The Packers have the best QB, arguably the best individual RB, arguably the best individual WR, and that can't be underestimated in a single game.

I've had the 49ers ahead of the Packers in the Power Rankings throughout the season, but Green Bay have shown their big game credentials, and have more years of institutional playoff experience under their belt, so in one game I can definitely see them taking this one.

Packers 24-20.
