Thanks for that , im on his wagon too , its his for the taking if he wants it bad enough and he will never get a chance like this again to cement his spot as a number 1 ruck

And the afl are promoting the opposite and have seemingly said to the coaches that they need to come to party or they’ll keep regulating to reduce negative tactics and increase scoring

I don’t disagree that it won’t work as is and we’ll have zones for all stoppages within two seasons

He has only this year now. Otherwise he will be out.
 
I thought there was a rule change coming that rucks would be able to grab the ball out of the ruck without the auto-prior applied? This would help mitigate against a team with effectively no tall ruck at center bounces. Also if the center bounce positions of 6 6 6 are applied then even a more dominant ruck can hit the ball forward to what would be an even contest into their half of the ground, bypassing the midfield. Whereas before a loose defender would give the defending team the advantage.

I think I've read the game kicks off at 10.30. Interested by timing too.
