Re Qld. Auskick in 2021, Jurss-Lewis said

"AFL Capricornia [Central Qld.] saw a 22% increase in participation in its junior footy program, Auskick, this year. Across the State, participation has grown by a record 13%".

The phenomenon that is the Qld. GR AF boom continues.

In rural & inland regional areas of Qld,. GR AF has a miniscule following. In many coastal towns of CQ, Mid NQ, & Far NQ, GR AF has a small, but growing, niche following.

However, in the Gold Coast- Greater Brisbane (excluding Ipswich District RL comp.)- Sunshine Coast corridor, & the Cairns district, GR AF jnr & snr club nos., & school comp. nos., are booming- & now challenge GR jnr & snr contact RL club nos., & school comp. contact nos., in these areas.
