We had played Freo, Gold Coast, Saints, injury ravaged Port and Richmond and scraped in against Melbourne. We lost at home to Hawks, Cats, West Coast and a shocking away loss to North.

We’ve turned over a lot of experience and have an untried depth.

Meanwhile sides below us in Saints and Melbourne recruited well, who did we recruit?

Hardly surprising. DMAC has always trained the house down from all accounts! Its why he wins over coaching staff after coaching staff

Our coaches have locked Dmac into the static best 22 based upon his work in runners. It’s how we roll. Efficacy in battle isn’t important, what matters is how you run patterns during the preseason. Every single coach that valued Mackay has lost their job. Apart from the guy that was murdered. Even then, he made it clear that shit was changing after a poor win in Brisbane

I’d say unlikely. The people that employed Nicks extended Pyke and Campo and believed that Burto was the bestest ever. The odds on them not ******* this appointment up is slim. My money is Dmac being penned in because Nicks philosophy aligns with Chappo’s.

Chappy is responsible for an unforgivably large number of our **** ups in recent times, but Dmac consistently getting a game isn't one of them.

The club thanked me my RSVP, but they didn't address my concern about only two days notice and if I could be considered for the next one.

Might be a cunning plan by the club to give people only two days notice to attend the forums, when next to no-one can attend "see Rob, the members are happy with how we are running things"
