Yeh I'd say Cerra/Serong coming back will hurt him more than Walters. Pushes Aish/ Acres out to their full time wing. Frederick to play a similar HFF role to last year - albeit he looks much improved

So where do we all stand with Dunkley now?
Back in the crowd, watching, waiting. Far happier to sit on Danger for the extra 40k. Safer in my eyes and still underpriced. Would rather upgrade and grab Dunkley at a higher price later in the season than end up stuck with him rollercoasting and plummeting in price. I’ve opted to take my risks in other areas.

Fair call. Dunkley still priced at 96 so needs to be tonning up from the get go. Think I might go Butters who I like as a 90+ breakout, allows me to turn Dow into Caldwell as well
Butters/Caldwell definitely sounds like the safest option.
Actually just decided to use the spare 70k to up Daniher to Caldwell. Probably again, a safer option for me and more durability

Caldwell has looked really good in both pre season games, plenty of CBA’s
75 from 67% TOG on the weekend was very nice
I have Dunkley at 100 And Dow 70
Butters 95 and Caldwell 80-85
So 2 is slightly better and safer imo

How are we all on Butters v Higgins?
I'm initially leaning towards Butters, but wondering whether that score vs Adelaide is what is tipping me over? What exactly is Butters' scoring role, and will it be impacted by players coming in down the line?

Butters to me looked to have a midfield/high half forward role. You’re right, it was Adelaide but he still looked really good. 3rd year breakout on the cards

I think we can have more confidence in Butters with the Rozee injury now too. The way I saw it is that they were both going to get an increase in midfield minutes, but with Rozee now out and needing to get eased into the season I can’t see them rushing him in too quickly which means more midfield minutes available, or at least more security for Butters in those minutes

Higgins is mid only breh
And it's still Butters all the way. There is no one 'coming down the line'. SPP the only possible one but I wouldn't be worried about that

This is RDT by the way. It is pretty pricey. I wouldn't say Higgins or Zeebs are locks at this stage. Phillips and Butters aren't going anywhere. Nor is Hind

Yep I'm basically sold on Butters.
Might seem strange but I'm basically torn whether to swing Danger into the Mids and then go Phillips, Butters, Higgins. This would mean getting rid of Stewart in defence, but that gives me just short of 200k to spend elsewhere. But it's an obvious risk because Stewart is probably going to outscore Higgins by about 20.
