Honestly, they should've at least given Teague to the end of his tenure. Give him proper support.
Though I don't think they had done their due diligence when choosing Teague. The Carlton board seems more like a petulant child than any organised group of individuals...

Does anyone else support writing an letter to the Club asking for all VIC games to be played with the South Melb V?
We did it this year and it just seems crazy to me not to.....
It recognises our history, it is a totally acceptable clash jumper.....I honestly cant think of any downsides???

This may sound pedantic but I'd only want that for the H&A season. It bugs me that the GF has to be at the MCG and I'd be disappointed if we didn't play in our home guernsey on the final day

Sure - I mean the obvious solution is the MCG is the GF location every second year and we rotate it every other year, but i guess this thread isnt to solve all the AFLs problems.
Crazy that they got a 50 year contract, absolutely crazy, national competition......couldnt be a larger echo chamber.
I think the club would still keep the home guernsey for use in all finals regardless of where they are played unless we are required to use a clash jumper which the Red V would become. This would only be the case in the event we are the lower-ranked side in a Final/Grand Final against either Brisbane, Gold Coast or GWS where there is actually a clash or we already wear the clash jumper.
This would be a happy medium for everyone.

well, like most, i'm going on stories and rumours, but pretty sure he had a bit of the gary rohan in him when he was married, and when she was pregnant ... and i don't think it was just the one

same problem for so many young footballers ... too much time, money and people overlooking/excusing their sh1tty behaviour
but it's hardly new ... some of the biggest footy names of the 60s, 70s and 80s were notorious dckheads regards treatment of women

I didn't have a vested interest in last night's game. I fully expected the cats to win comfortably given Toby got wiped out and then Hogan got hurt and they did. But not before the umpires, lead by the dickhead who thinks everyone is tuning in to watch him, ruined the game. Half a dozen free kicks to cat forwards in a half of footy is one thing, but the real crime happened in the last quarter. The giants are storming home and have the ball bouncing around the goal square looking like they are about to pull within 2 goals with plenty of time left. Tweet. Free kick cats for holding. Replays show.... nothing. The forward was penalised in his own goal square for not shepharding it through as far as I could tell. Ball goes straight down the other end, goal, end of comeback.
