Carlton no coach, no CEO.

Exactly how they can be viewed by any player as a destination club? Feel this is the reason Cerra is 'interviewing' all the Vic clubs atm.
Carlton are the Wests Tigers of the AFL

Thought the GF would be Melbourne v Geelong for a few months so we get an early grand final tonight.

Now its probably Melbourne v Bulldogs.

And can you believe Findlay and Stevic have got them again, it's a ###king joke. Why not give them the other game.

If that isnt the AFL giving as huge up yours to everyone else in the AFL I dont know what is. Serioulsy, this mob has no ability to read the room.

Bevo having his daily sook , although he has a point. They have been in WA and arrive in Adelaide this evening and SA Health have denied them a short training run when they arrive , he said they have been tested 25 times in 14 days . He also said if Bont's knee is attacked there will be trouble.
All I heard there was 'attack Bont's knee" Why would he even bring that up?

after watching that debacle of the Teague sacking presser I had no doubt that the CEO was soulless, the president was not much better. They both sat at that interview and simply spoke drivel without emotion. What the hell has happened to such a once revered club.

Actually, he does this every time one of his players has an injury and takes the field. Every time.

So what is he trying to do here? Earn more frees for that player when ever they attack the ball? I don't know.

Exactly this, he's telling the umps what he wants them to keep an eye out for. Clever boy, doesn't even cost him a cup of coffee.

Dees first team into the GF. So glad they beat the salary cap cheats. Cats have a scheme that gets around the salary cap. If a player sponsor is not a team sponsor their sponsorship of the player is not counted in the salary cap. This has been the way Hawthorn and Geelong have kept their players for years. Who actually arranges the sponsorship? According to the club and the AFL the player managers. But the reality is the club make sponsorship suggestions to the player managers. Of course the sponsorship is already a part of the arrangement with the player and manager as a trade off over salary cap money.

I hate that sort of underhanded dealing. They ****ed up a couple of years ago and miscalculated the difference and went over the cap. They got a piddling fine for being a lot over the cap. No games lost. No season points deleted like Essendon and Carlton. Nothing. AFL house is full of Cats fane lol

Of course its pretty obvious COLA was a fine smokescreen.

If a player sponsor is not a team sponsor their sponsorship of the player is not counted in the salary cap.

This is available to EVERY CLUB IN THE AFL including the Swans, there is even a separate Additional Service Agreements or ASA Cap of $1.2 million per season in addition to the normal salary cap of $13.2million for this very thing. This is set out in Sections 11, 12, and 13 of the AFL Players CBA if you actually sit down and read it - https://www.aflplayers.com.au/app/uploads/2020/12/AFL_CBA_2017-2022-1.pdf

But I guess it's easy to believe the conspiracy if you really want to.
