There was an article in The Age yesterday which stated that if Stengle is overlooked in the MSD, anyone can still add him as a DFA but it would have to be for a year rather than 6 months.

Would we need someone on the LTI to do that?

There's a couple of Sturt games on 7+. I watched Sturt v Crows. Johnson was very good, kicked 4 from memory. Johnson moves well for a big boy, good kick fof goal, AFL body, I can see why CFC are interested.

Kind of hope they take him....sounds like X factor

Tyler will spend weeks trying to heal naturally and will finally return and pop it out. They will then resort to surgery meaning he will miss twice as many games than if they acted promptly and got it done. They have done this a number of times with other players.

You do realise that each surgical decision made as to whether to operate of not will be made by the independent surgeon the club sends the player to.

There will be different surgeons for different joints. Reckon they may be best placed to make the decision. Not many don’t want to operate if it’s appropriate to. Even if they dont consider their own livelihood as part of the question.

I think you need to stop saying that Tas want or need to adopt a dysfunctional football side or for that matter any other relocated team, if we had an Afl side atm Callow would not be in this mid season draft nor would we have Checkers .

remember Liam Jurrah? God he had some talent and sounds exactly like you described.

That’s the description we’re getting for Johnson. As I said, all I want is natural forwards.

Elliott is one, McCreery is one. Henry is one but isn’t ready.

Checkers isn’t but he’s a workhorse and he keeps presenting.

We just need more talent in that area of the ground instead of going for athletic profile and thinking we can teach them.

- Abroginal (For the Do Better Report)
- Versatile
- Still got Upside

Negatives:

- 23 bit older then where we are Rebulding From
- More a 3rd Tall then a Proper Key Postion Player

Callow Postives:

- The FF type we need
- Strong Contested Mark
- 19 so fits where the List is Going
- Tiny Chance could get to our 2nd Pick

Negatives:

- Not Super Athletic
- Only play FF really
- Not a Ton of Upside
