Yeah by the time deadline rolls around Neale will have dropped 100k in 2 weeks, time to give him the flick

He could legitimately be around 600-650K by Round 6, as his breakeven will be close to 250 this week, and he'll need 3 120+ rounds at least, to start getting it back towards that hundred mark.

If he gets tagged again, we could see some ridiculous price drops on the cards like 100K sort of price drops per week

You'd think all teams have noted the tagging of Neale

Get to have a fun week this week, now I've banked my cash and got all the rooks I need.

Looking at:

Sharp > Mills (via Briggs and Scott DPP)
Kmart Dusty > Caldwell/I. Smith

Especially when a defender who's never played midfield, or tagged before (and wasn't even playing AFL until 4 years ago), completely takes him out of the game and has 15 disposals himself.

Imagine what a Hewett/Hutchings type could do, by taking some of what O'Connor did last night and applying it to their tagging arsenal.

Doesn't help that Neale is a giant sook and cannot for the life of him break any sort of hard tag. Definitely looks like he's in for a bad year

Could be tasty!
Finding it harder away from Fyfe I guess in 2021. He may work it out.

Don't want to jinx anything by suggesting Sunday players, so just going to start with:

Webster - Laird (I banked cash this week)

Lots of other options for trade 2. Lazzaro looked decent today and could be a good value cash cow if he's picked again next week. Also considering getting on the Butters train as per previous poster. He is just so damn fun to watch.

I have a terrible forward line. My priority in terms of changing it is: 1) Caldwell; 2) De Goey; 3) Dow; 4) Stephenson.

Well this has already changed...

Sh*t showing from Mills (reflecting his pre-season showing), so another couple of weeks wait on that me thinks. Caldwell injured, so not a viable candidate.

Getting really keen on the unique Bowes pick, as his role looks so good down there (as evidenced by his 135 last week and a solid 92 this week with 30 and 31 disposals respectively).

Could be something like:

Sharp > H. Chapman (provided he goes 60+) via Clark to the mids
Idun > Bowes

Gives me the added bonus of getting Powell off the field too - which is just wonderful, lol

Would make my defence and midfield look a lot stronger too:

DEF: Laird, Doch, Bowes, Fantasia, Chapman, Highmore (Kozi, Briggs)

MID: Macrae, Zerrett, Cogs, Walsh, TT, Clark, Gulden, Jordon (Powell, Brockman)

RUC: Grundy, Flynn (Meek)

FWD: Dunks, Phillips, De Goey (uck), Hind, Warner, Bergman (Rowe, Scott)

UTL: Hunter

***************************

Can then focus on perhaps downgrading De Goey (once he has another inevitable sh*thouse game), and perhaps look at Campbell if he has a solid enough showing against the Tiges (60+) - then go Hunter > Witts, with Marshall returning, which would send Flynn to the bench.

Still a lot to play out though!

Is there any way to work out early what Campbell and Butters will be worth after price changes hit?

Asking for a friend :smirk:
My rule of thumb is that every 10 pts above BE is roughly $6-6.5K increase.

Taken BEs from DT live:

Butters BE 86 / score 122. ~$22/23K price rise.
Campbell BE 30 / score 96. ~$41-42K price rise.

I got Draper and Caldwell
so do I just play Flynn and go right down to a 170k and then upgrade Caldwell to premo mid or defender.
or
do I downgrade Caldwell to a gun rook and then use the cash to upgrade Draper to a better ruck?

I’m in this boat too. Will watch Flynn closely this week. Interested to see how he goes against a Darcy Meek combo
