I think Patrick Lipinski would make a great target for our midfield. He's a classy running mid who is currently at the worst club possible for his gamete and role. Out of contract at the end of the year and would be crazy to stay at the Doggies.

If we could get lipinski and Merrett then that would be amazing. We should have money freed up from Motlop and Rockliff plus the money we apparently already have

Hypothetical but serious question - what would it take for Port to agree for a Ladhams trade to Richmond?

Around pick 10 and a swap of later picks?
Two picks around 20?
Swap for Coleman-Jones and a pick in the 20s?

Like him alot and word is its Riewoldts last season.
Sorry. He's a One Club player.

Matt Arnot and Todd Elton should get it done.

Trading Ladhams would defeat the purpose of what Port is trying to do in building our list for sustained success. When Dixon retires, Ladhams and Hayes can rotate forward to being the resting ruck that provides a target in the square with Marshall and Georgiades being the athletic key forwards.

What you've suggested sounds about his value, but it would be a zero sum trade for us.

Ok thanks.

Pick 10 would be a good deal for us as things stand. His 2021 season might change that though but a top 10 pick for an unproven ruckman is generous.

Any deal for lahdams to Richmond would have to include CCJ for mine.
But I think and hope the penny has dropped and he will be to valuable to trade by the end of the yr.

My thoughts joining the dots -

I understand the plan up until 2019 was for CCJ to replace Riewoldt when he retired. Then covid hit which put a ? through form of fringe players at Richmond and of course kebabgate.

Ive heard Adelaide and Collingwood were keen for a trade (the latter particularly if Moore didnt stay) at the end of last year so its a bit of a fluid situation. Collingwood prepared to part with a pick in the early 20s.

If CCJ doesnt work for Richmond in 2021 i think he will probably be traded, most likely home to SA. But we need a young but viable KF. We have Geelongs first as well as our own and 2 second rounders.

Could be interesting.

Life long Dogs supporter, so a real long shot to get his signature. But worth a word in his ear.

Callum - Coleman Jones a young Sa lad at Richmond.
Was with stack getting a Yiros
