Trades 2022 AFL Fantasy - Round 5 Trades - Last week before DPP

We unfortunately don't have one, Hobbs could do it but it's too same same

Let's hope we go after Dunks or De Goey this year both are big boys and could do some damage in there

At this point, I don't have too much faith in Essendon

I’m looking at the exact same trade, we must have similar $$.
Sinclair - great pick but Daicos to Def will complete the line.
Simpkin - also nice but can be tagged and dish up a 40.
Kennedy - won’t be tagged.
Green - won’t be tagged but may get put forward.

Leaning towards Kennedy or Green. Green has the higher average and Kennedy has had a very sweet opening draw. Green it is for me.

Edit: last week Green was in high demand. 1 avg score and nobody wants him now. Keeping in mind Macrae, Miller, Neale, Petracca, Oliver etc. have all put up sub-100s and it hasn’t effected their stock.

Cripps is probably the one potential top 10 mid I can bring in next week - I don't think the budget will stretch to 900K or above sadly....

I only have $713k, so I'm looking at Z.Williams / Mcinerney / Rioli (all dubious at best) or going to another rookie T. Wilson?? J. Boyd??... feels bad.

Ward > $763K - this can get me to Dawson/Sinclair who have potential to be top 10 defenders. But i miss Windhager (probably not a big deal) and I cash Ward out when I think he has potential to bounce back and earn some more cash.

Any thoughts on which option to take?

Option B for sure. Windhager was ok but hardly a must-have and his job security would be questionable at best. Take the opportunity to get in a defender that looks like being among the top handful in their line rather than muck around with one of the yo-yoing mid pricers

Was thinking of holding Cripps, but my options to upgrade Rowell are slim. Looked at Rowell/Ward to S.Hayes/Green and was $1k short.

I have Sicily as D6, so no real need for Sinclair or Dawson, but may get either and move Hewett to midfield.

Or I could pull the pin on Crouch, and upgrade to an Uber Premium. But I think Rowell is the bigger concern.

Yep, but that was kinda a **** up, Carlton wanted him as well and i think there was some pettiness there

at 180cm he joins Caldwell, McGrath, Merrett, Parish, Hobbs in the short ass brigade

Yeah that's definitely a flag, he can kick goals so Cameron will be tempted to move him there. Toby Greene back in next week may help but that's a cause for concern.

Leon Cameron is just a campaigner haha,

Greene will probably play full time mid just to screw us over

Edit: I'm hoping he shows some positive signs this weekend as he'll be the perfect cheap target next week when I upgrade Bowey and swing Daicos back.

Can he make it through without Scott throwing in a random rest here and there?
