Tucker more likely to be left out than nod is of being dropped.

0% chance he's dropped.

From next week onwards though.....eeek.

D6 woes will continue if people are planning on him averaging 70+ for them short term...
Tucker and Serong both have to pass the main session today and they will be in, Longy said

Trading strategy will really start coming to the fore over the next few weeks. One thing I'll say is don't think you need to be locked into bench down/field up type trades every week. If downgrading a maxed out midpricer on field (i.e Rowell this week) yields a better upgrade with the other trade don't be afraid to do it.

Those sorts of moves have really worked for me over the last few years. Last year they were just about all I used from round 4 till the byes and went from 12k to 500. Be more selective with bench > bench moves instead of just getting the next cheap dodgy rook every week to get the $ that way.

Next week I may go Lipinski and Rowell to Steele and Clark.

Can someone please tell me I'm stupid for considering trading in Hughy Dixon. Had him in my initial plans given his low BE but chances are he just drops a few 30s from here and barely makes any cash. Is it dumb to grab him?

As a bench player, I think he's still a good buy, especially with NicNat out. Wouldn't be putting him on the field though...

I'm grabbing him.
Only 270k still.
Job security pretty solid now.

Not stupid at all. He looked pretty good last week in a lesser role and should see at least 50% ruck time now with Nic Nat out. I highly doubt he drops 30's

I can see a scenario in which me or someone uses both trades by Friday and come sat all of a sudden they have 3 covid outs lol

Think it will be a good idea to hold 1 trade until just before the Sat games just in case.

I've been trying to do this most weeks. Unfortunately it's cost me going with the better (and my preferred) option already on one occasion, so it also comes with risk

JHF and Hugh Dixon's performance on friday will determine my trades.... not doing any trades before i see how they perform

(Cripps, Soligo and Preuss holder)

I’m trading out Cripps and trying to decide between going up to an uber premo or chasing some value:

Cripps / Ward to Steele / Windhager
(NOD on field)

Or

Cripps / Ward to Adams / McInerney
(McInerney on field, NOD benched)

Ideally, at a certain point in the season. Each trade you make will be final.

You don't want to trade to Adams, only to trade him to someone else in 5 weeks.

Steele is a set and forget

Pretty much why I won't consider Neale now.
Id be locking both trades before tonight.......no thanks.

I like this mantra.

It's hard to know when picking off the scrap heap especially early on that the "fallen premo" is actually going to turn it around.

Id much rather just lock away a known quantity at this stage of the year and enjoy them all year eg Steele type.

There's almost no benefit just waiting around for them and then picking them up in the last week of the year.
