Hall or doch?
Hall seems to be hitting a few 90s, form or?

Doch is the #1 DEF this year

The other issue with NOD is next week. If he's 22nd picked this week, what does next week look like ??? samFFC , Freo_4eva , lachieschultzfanclub - who is coming back next week ?? Anyone to push NOD out ?

I think we are picking on form so he keeps his spot for now.
Schultz will be back next week but won't affect NOD

Reef retained after a 19.

NOD (maybe) dropped after a 109.

Seems legit.

To be fair Reef's team lost to your rabble. Maybe not as strong as us :p

Not sure what to do this week. I think I'm eating Cripps even though my brain is telling me no hammy is ever just a week. Given I can't figure out a logical 2nd trade, maybe the play is to trade Cripps to English and avoid taking Hayes's score, then flick him forward next week (also gives the luxury of being able to **** Brodie Grundy off if required)

Eating him is made a little easier by (if I downgrade Ward to Windhager) being able to flick Rachele into the mids to cover him instead of having two of Rachele/Xerri/Martin/Ralphsmith occupying the pine.

Burning question for me this week is whether I sit Xerri or Ralphsmith on the pine.

Assuming he's named, I think McCartin to O'Driscoll is a pretty reasonable trade one.

Trade two is a bit more tiresome. I'll have 215k leftover, so could go Bowey, Rowell, Crouch or Caldwell up. But I'm a bit less eager to jump off Rowell than most (I think he'll come good, and I'd prefer to benefit when he does). And could only get Rowell up to Simpkin. So I'm tempted to go either Ward or MacDonald down to Windhager - but, and Saints fans will probably know better, is Windhager a good play? 55 odd in a side that pissed it in, not much footy over the last couple of years, a side that looks strong enough, he doesn't tick many boxes for me, I wonder if 55 could be the peak and he's a 40-45 guy who'll be back in the magoos in a couple of weeks?

He's probably the only play though, right? Be nice to have a week to look at Callaghan and gives a war chest for next week when Petracca, Miller, Steele, Oliver, Walsh & Mills all look like they'll have bottomed out.

Any advice?

If he gets dropped after last week I'm getting the microwave ready to burn my electronic membership. Erasmus is gone first.. NOD has to hold that wing for the good of integrity of selection - its all dependant on our obsession with Tucker short/medium term, but i think he'd have to drop right off to not get a decent run at it

Thanks to you both !!

Need a rookie trade but really unsure which direction to take.

  • Trade 1 (rookie downgrade) - Who to trade out of Ward or McDonald ? Which rookie has better JS out of Hayes (PFC) or Windhager ?
  • Trade 2 - wish I pulled the trigger and got in Crisp. Now I’m looking at Dawson or Doc. Can I justify the the extra 100K ?
Please help! I’m losing my marbles here.

Id wait until teams tonight, Hayes from Port is on the extended bench so may not be selected.

Doc and Dawsons break evens are right about on their averages so wont make much money unless their averages increase. Sinclair, Williams, Hewett, Short if you want to make money on high scoring players. Otherwise pick a DEF you think will be top 6 by the years end and put them in your team, set and forget.

1. Gibcus to NOD
Cripps to Oliver/Mills
(Hold Rowell)

2. McCartin to NOD
Rowell to Heeney
(Hold Cripps, take the Reef 62?

Essentially it’s Reef 62 and Heeney v Oliver/Mills and Rowell?

Does Oliver and Rowell score enough more than Heeney and Reef to justify trading Cripps?

I am on option 2 here as i think Cripps will only be 1 week so it has a net advantage of improving your team more

Option 1 next week has you with

NOD Oliver/Mills Rowell

Option 2 has

NOD Cripps Heeney

So option 2 has a rookie and 2 keeper premos
Option 1 has 1 rookie 1 keeper premo and a mid price player who is capped out
