For those who don't know, I have lived outside Australia since 2003, so obviously I haven't ever seen a whole episode of Footy Classified or indeed much Aussie TV that is not part of the WatchAFL/Fox package. So it was that I found myself watching the above YT clip of Caroline Wilson, Eddie McGuire Ross Lyon and Matthew Lloyd discussing the DeGoey saga.

After so much consumption of what passes for discussion on the AFL endorsed channel, it was seriously refreshing to watch three people (I don't count Lloyd whose presence had more of a calming effect) who are genuine thinkers of the game for all their flaws speak their minds despite the friction that ensued. Would love to have seen it in the days when GT was doing it.

Particularly loved the clip Eddie gave Robbo too!
