If you were a richmond supporter the remote would have gone through the TV tonight… twice.

Also, and I don’t mean to be rude to the big man, has any player ever sounded THAT dumb in a post game interview. He actually said “who cares” about the result.

They are probably overachieving. My Richmond mate was pretty philosophical. He still raged but then kind of accepted that they are playing a young side and the results are going to fluctuate.

Yeh fair point but snatching defeat (and draw) from the jaws of victory twice in two weeks (twice in one game last night) would have to be insanely frustrating. They’d (likely) be a game clear in the 8 regardless of results this weekend if Jake Aarts and Noah Cumberland had not played on and as we’ve discussed, this year, that could be a pinched flag.

Cumberland has been a revelation. He's pumped on him like I am on Coops. He could shoot Dimma and he'd find a way to see a positive in it. I guess they are in a different head space. They thought they were at the end playing kids and still in the finals race and at least losing trying their arses off.

I think the most disappointing thing for me with us is that the energy and effort isn't there with everything to play for. Something seems very off ATM.

Such a shame we didn't fire when the opportunity was there. Someone is going to win a soft flag this year.

Their pressure and effort was unreal last night, if we could muster half of that we’d look so much better.

Honestly I’d take anyone but Melbourne to win the flag, I can’t ****ing stand Melbourne and their supporters and if I have to hear about their dynasty I might just stop following the Afl.

I'm getting strong Geelong vibes. They seem like they are deep and solid. I hate Geelong for being the antithesis to us in the last 20 years. Missed finals only twice or something, won flags, have luck, money and a brand and don't even look like the end is nigh still. **** them.

I think they are the current front runners but being so old they are 1 or 2 injuries from falling over completely.

Swans going well, still scared of Brissies scoring potential, like in a shoot out sort of GF, Cats screw around with it and score, Brissie in same time kick 3 just be giving no shits and pinging from 70.

So I'm hoping a Swans v Brisbane GF personally.

Only premier I’ll accept, considering it won’t be us, is an interstate one.
Guess I’m all in on Freo or the Lions.

Franklin goes past Ablett Sr. Incredible stuff.

Tony Lockett - 1360
Gordon Coventry - 1299
Jason Dunstall - 1254
Doug Wade - 1057
Lance Franklin - 1033
Gary Ablett Sr - 1031

Sounds like another side I’ve been watching.
Funny how the grass is always greener, but they do have a few cups on their grass.

Richmonds young side last night
Vs our old side (in need of a rebuild some claim) last week.

300 game players 2 x 0

250 1 x 1

150 3 x 2

100 6 x 8

50 6 x 8

<50 5 x 4

I think the three premierships helps being philosophical I guess. He was expecting a drop off that hasn't happened. At the bye he was talking high picks and they are potentially playing finals instead. I think we had the hope built up being top 4 and then the rug being pulled out form underneath us. Interesting how psychology works.

Charlie Dixon willing Port back into this game has been great to watch
