Against Richmond today, Josh Ward (taken pick 7 in last year’s draft) had 29 disposals (2nd-most on ground), 19 contested possessions (most on the ground by 6!), a game-high 9 intercept possessions, equal-game high 6 clearances, 6 score involvements and 421m-gained.

All from just 67% game time!

proof that if they're talented enough there's no reason why draftees can't contribute straight away

He was considered the best kid in the country from the time that he was 16. Not sure every kid is as ready.

Have a guess who was the no.1 ranked on the ground (ranking points re the AFL website) for the Swans (82) v North (51) game?

Xerri!

110 ranking points
29 hitouts
17 disposals
14 contested possessions
6 tackles
5 contested marks

In hindsight, if Bing stays at GCS, we probably should have ponied up there.

Ironically the one time we don’t trade our future second it might of actually been worth it 😂

Wce struggling big time. They win a bit of the contested footy and get decent break away plays but they look up and have literally no one to kick too.

Freo on the other hand should be absolutely belting them but they just look seriously average.

Acres is absolutely butchering it again.

Can’t believe people think they will rise up the ladder.
