So we’re back to it being a toe for Dean, rather than a refracture of his 5th metatarsal…

… colour me confused.

Can we go far with our undersized defence? There are a lot of gorillas in the forward lines of the Dees, Cats, Blues, Swans and Tigers.

Howe is being exposed by the bigger bodied players. The poor bloke has been giving away height and kgs every week. It must wear a player down.

We've gotten away with it so far but I feel a day of reckoning will come.

Murphy and Howe couldn't contain one key forward in larkey. I think we escaped there, but the crows have thiltorphe, tex, fogarty... they have the option of himmelberg.

Dont forget they had CCj and Goldstein to contend with as well, both 200+ cm.

Tex and Fogarty are alot shorter and they should be ok

Tex and Fogarty are relatively undersized themselves, our height isn’t an issue against the Crows if Moore is there to play on Thilthorpe.

The main worry is Tex and his resurgence. He is very hard to stop on a lead at the moment.

Tex might be the purest hit up big forward in the AFL.

Wow, selection just got really interesting. No VFL so I assume if they want to play Grundy it's either seniors or nowhere.

How do you fit IQ, and potentially Adams, Grundy and Henry into the side that beat the Crows Saturday?

You drop Ruscoe, Bianco, Cox and JC.
Simples.

I don’t think Henry gets the call up. Johnson gets another crack.

He is still technically under Concussion protocols…so medically he has to be assessed & cleared.
Should be fine.
I feel like the joke went over your head on that one.

Love the detail that Wade goes in to with these reports, it’s so refreshing to have a full explanation of what players are doing and where they’re at instead of the basic “player x is short/medium/long term” BS we used to get with Walsh.

I was caught off guard by that and I've never even been to training. Just assumed we would've had a light session today and a main session Thursday.
That's what I assumed it would be, so I was surprised about this too. Usually their day off would be between sessions; but maybe they are wanting to get the training out of the way and have a lighter end to the week given its a 6 day break? So their day off would be thursday instead. Just swapping it around this week
