According to a recent article, there'll be an offer on the table for De Goey at 800K for 2 season

De Goey being re-signed
Bobby Hill coming in
McStay coming in
Elliott re-signed

Kinda sounds to me like Grundy might be going. Not sure how we get all that done with the anchor that is Grundy's contract over our head

What’s JDG currently on? What’s the offer? Is there a significant change in TPP impact?

Ditto Elliott.

McStay and Hill nothing more than rumors at the moment. How much space is there in the our 2023 TPP? Is there already enough TPP available to get it done? If not, how much extra do they need to find to get those deals done if they go that way?

Just not sure how any of that uncertainty leads to Grundy any more or less likely to depart.

While our VFL side lost its final against Carlton at the weekend, some positive news was the successful return of Nathan Kreuger - 17 weeks post shoulder surgery.

He's pulled up well after the game and will return to full training on Thursday.

Tyler Brown was an omission from the VFL match but he has now recovered from a fatigue related illness.

He will return to full training this week and will be available for selection.

Taylor Adams started his rehab conservatively with straight line running and progressed into a testing period last week, with more skills and team training.

He completed part of Friday's match simulation and pulled up well.

Pending his completion of Thursday's main session he is expected to be fit and available for Saturday's clash with Geelong.

On our long term rehab list, Tom Wilson (back) is now completing around 90 percent of every main training session.

Reef McInnes (shoulder) has started some controlled tackling and wrestling on the sideline with coaches.

Harvey Harrison (hamstring) is running at 85-90 percent now and will return to full training in the coming weeks.

Following his successful surgery, Brodie Grundy (ankle) is now out of the moon boot and walking comfortably.

He has started his rehab process with lower body strength work and will introduce running and deep water running in a few weeks.

Charlie Dean is out of the moon boot but is still six-eight weeks away from running.

He will progressively load into the start of pre-season.

Ruptured groin does not sound pleasant

Are you saying he is more than likely to miss this week Doc ? If so , we are going to be against it without him .

Well, he played over a half of a very physical game with the injury on Saturday, and played a great game, so maybe ha can get through with a jab or two, but its not going to get any better from here on.

He was dosed up.

Jordan De Goey copped a bump during the second quarter that resulted in an AC joint sprain.

He was sore and limited in his range of movement but was able to play on.

Scans confirmed a grade one AC joint sprain - his contact work during the week will be managed but he is expected to be available to play in Saturday's Semi-Final against Fremantle.

Ash Johnson sustained a corked glute at the weekend - he was sore today but has been cleared of any significant damage

He will be limited at training early this week but will return to full training on Thursday.

On the long-term rehab list, Harvey Harrison (hamstring) and Tom Wilson (back) are both now training at a high level - they are both on track for a full pre-season starting in early November.

Reef McInnes (shoulder) has progressed to contact work on the sideline and our high performance team is hopeful he will return to full training by the end of the finals series.

Brodie Grundy (ankle) and Charlie Dean (foot) are both no longer wearing moon boots and they are walking around pain free.

They are both completing flat-footed rehab in the gym.

Yep, what could go wrong?
Cough-Mick McGuan-cough.

Ah, thanks for the reminder of what was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on a footy field.

Every time McGuane tried to kick the ball it nearly missed his foot and dribbled along the ground! I couldn’t believe my eyes! From memory our docs either got the dose wrong and over-numbed it, or hit a nerve with the needle. Either way it was Benny Hill music level comedy and poor old Micky McGuane was getting increasingly frustrated that he was kicking it like a toddler.

Must be a slow news day on ABC TV. You know those little banner headlines that run across the bottom of the screen on morning TV. One caught my eye this morning. It read something like: "Collingwood Vice Capt taylor Adams is expected to miss training today with a groin complaint, as the Magpies preprare to face Freo". I shit you not.

WTAF?!!! I reckon someone at the ABC was taking the p***
