Glad to get games back! Week 0 doesn't have any leap of the page must watch games, but I'm sure something will end up being a cracker.

Week 1 had done reasonable games to kick things off right across the weekend.

I think the game in Dublin will be a cracker but the rest I dont really care for myself.

I can't bloody wait for the season to start again. I don't rate our chances of going back to back just yet but that may change when I see what we are doing at WR and CB. They were our two main weak spots last season and by all reports the receiver group hasn't been looking great in practice. Our backfield is also going to be a problem unless someone stands up and delivers. If we are relying on Milton and Macintosh all season we are going to be in big trouble.

There is also a new SEC Shorts out if anyone is interested:

Hoping to get fully into college football this season. Have made an effort the previous years, but haven't gone all out due to the times of the games and NFL taking priority for the early morning wakeup of a weekend.

Will be heading to the Badgers home opener against Illinois State. So bloody keen. Will be interesting to see how Braelon Allen goes with a full year as RB1 in Wisconsin.

Preseason rankings.

Top 2 look to be pretty set Alabama and Georgia have a pretty cruisey schedule.

3rd and 4th spot seems to be pretty open. Ohio State v ND in week one will shape the fortunes for both sides. A loss isn't the end, but there's no margin for error after that.

ND probably have the hardest schedule for the contenders. Ohio State, Clemson, BYU, USC.

Are Clemson back? We'll know by weeks 4&5 with games against Wake Forest and NC State.

Keen to see how the first year of the overhaul at USC plays out.

Im willing to start up a sub for the upcoming season if i can get 2 others to pitch in. i think it would be about $30 a month split 3 ways

You can only have 3 simultaneous streams on the family plan.

Would be 4 months. or 5th if we also do January

Yeah I probably would, just would need to figure out an easy way to stream/cast that I'd need you to help me with.

Not sure how the reigning champs aren't ranked number 1 heading into week 1.
In theory, last year shouldn’t mean anything for week 1 rankings.

However week 1 rankings are the most pointless exercise ever as it’s largely guesswork.

It's just a thing to talk about. There is always a bunch of teams that are ranked preseason that are busts, and other teams that end up being highly ranked

The season has crept up on me.

I'm actually more interested in 2023 atm (Planning being there for the first 2 weeks for the Washington and UCF games.)

It's also good of them to air Boise State-Oregon State week 1
Only espn game this year
After week 1
I have to find other sources for the whole year.

Wanna give us a spot Pac-12?
Will a pretty please from Dirty Bird help?

Yeah I agree. It's just filler for ESPN to stay relevant in their summer months.

Rankings have nothing to do with ESPN. It's just a group of the football writers association and the AP and Heisman voters to give them something to do.

If ESPN wanted to do the rankings this early they would start the playoff rankings.

Like always early season rankings are just a popularity contest. Based on how the writers view the program and the recruiting class

New season! The Kool Aid has been drunk! Let’s go Huskers!

Following the Big Ten is by far the worst conference living in Australia. Bloody Fox games not getting an coverage out here.
Surely there could be some agreement with the Australian Fox that Murdoch group could sort out.

I hear ya. Games are dwindling each year and the next media rights deal will probably see it vanish all together. Australia will be the SEC South TV conference.
