That makes the franchise tagging of Njoku make a little more sense I guess

Hooper a massive fail of a signing. Went for big money and gone in 2 years.

Commanders re-signed WR Cam Sims to a one-year, $3 million contract.

It's not a bad deal for a pure role player, one whose 2020 production halved in 2021 despite injury issues in the Commanders' receiver corps. 6-foot-5 Sims is a load on the boundary, but he is never going to graduate beyond bit player status.

Titans signed RB Trenton Cannon, formerly of the 49ers.

Cannon joined the Ravens amid a slew of running back injuries in September but only lasted a week. The 49ers then picked him up for the same reason. He appeared in 11 games for them, seeing all but two of his 162 snaps come on special teams. A scary collision on a kickoff sent him to the hospital in Week 13. Cannon wouldn't return until the NFC Championship when he resumed special teams duties. He adds depth to the Tennessee backfield but doesn't project for a role in Week 1.

Texans signed RB Dare Ogunbowale, formerly of the Jaguars, to a two-year, $3.3 million contract.

Ogunbowale was used almost exclusively as a special teams player until late in the 2021 season. With James Robinson and Carlos Hyde out, he took the bulk of the running back snaps for the Jags over the final three weeks of the regular season. He ended the season with 137 rushing yards and 114 receiving yards. Known as a pass-catching specialist and special teams contributor, Ogunbowale will play a similar role in Houston. As things stand right now, Rex Burkhead will be the team's lead-back between the tackles.

Raiders released LB Nick Kwiatkoski.

The move saves Las Vegas just over $3 million against the cap. A fourth-round pick by the Bears back in 2016, Kwiatkoski never lived up to the three-year, $21 million deal he signed with the Raiders in 2020. Despite that disappointment, he should field some interest on the open market.

HOLY OVERPAY, 6 years, you taking the piss or what Bills?

Interesting to note out of this, the Bills run an old school 4-3 with McDermott. First time Von will play in such a front.

Bit of context, its backloaded to shit, Von wont see years 5 and 6 of the deal, same deal as Chandler Jones got from the Raiders pretty much
