I'm sad to see Adams gone. But f**k me. He is getting QB money

What did you think he'd get? Hopkins got a 28m deal like I said, he was always after better, and deservedly so.

Hopkins was never getting 28 mill per year, cmon. Hopkins cap hits for the next 3 years are 6,19 and 14 mill.

Congratulations to Davante for getting his money though, it is a lot!

he got a 27.25m per year two year extension when traded to Arizona

Adams was underpaid for the last few years. Good to see him get the money he deserves, but still sad to see him gone.

Also means the Rodgers deal is a 2-3 year deal and then he will retire. and given that he only needs to show up for camp 4 days a year, the Packers plan for the future is still Love since he will be the camp QB.

and get way more in return that if he left as a FA where we would of likely only get a 3rd round pick.

the last 3 years Packers went 7-0 without Adams. so its not all doom and gloom. but will want to hit on a WR they take in the first. Wont be picking at #22. will trade up into the top half of the draft.

Haha go look at spotrac. That number is fake

From Spotrac:

DeAndre Hopkins signed a 2 year, $54,500,000 contract with the Arizona Cardinals, including a $27,500,000 signing bonus, $60,050,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $27,250,000. In 2022, Hopkins will earn a base salary of $6,650,000 and a restructure bonus of $10,650,000, while carrying a cap hit of $17,950,000 and a dead cap value of $33,800,000.

Hill, Jefferson, Debo and AJ Brown all celebrating the last few days after how the WR market has moved. and some teams are worried about what they will now need to pay to keep the top WRs

Adams was previously criminally underpaid. Good luck to him
Rodgers, like Cousins is a selfish **** cares about $ not rings
Brady's coming back for less than 20 as he wants another ring doesn't need the $

That's what greatness is - WE WE WE and not ME ME ME

Adams was underpaid and out preformed his contract. but the funny thing is when he signed his last extension everyone laughed and said the Packers overpaid.

Pretty much exactly what I said he'd be wanting (this was in response to GG's post with a tweet saying he'd turned down a $23m AAV offer)

Considering what Christian Kirk got, I'd say that offer is probably $5m/year short of what Adams would be wanting 😅
