Touch wood, but the vibe from pre-season seems really positive so far. Last off season there were questions marks around at least Joe, Lachie, Zorks, Marcus Adams, Connor, Nakia, Noah and J Berry (am I missing someone?) which in the end must've had an effect on the season.
Unless I'm mistaken, all of those players are in front of where they were a year ago which is super exciting. I guess Hippy is the big negative, but he seems to be tracking well too.
One player I haven't seen/heard much from is JL. Would anyone be able to update on how he's travelling?

There is testing speed and game speed. Can be different imo

Except Dev has demonstrated his speed in game at AFL level. What a waste of energy.

On guys that are fast that don't know how and when to use it McFadyen should be the target. Guy is huge, tests extremely fast and could be our forward rotator through the mids but just doesn't seem to want to grab a spot in the 1sts.

With his frame and speed he could be anything. Anything.

Weird comment given he did his ACL :S

He has been there and been his normal unobtrusive self, going about his business in a thoroughly professional manner, I don't think he has missed a game since the the Suns gave him away to us.

Anyone going to Yeronga tomorrow afternoon to watch training?
I might give it a go, if all works in my favour.
Would love to see the new draftees who are apparently going to be there.

Not totally sure why but think McFadyen could surprise us all this year. Has this attributes and the dedication. Reckon he could be an out of the box player to feature in a finals run but needs to keep working bloody hard first. Lions family too, premiership couple in the offing.

He could be a surprise packet, immense physical gifts and has shown a real knack as a forward. I see him as a marking target up forward that can run through the midfield. Would be wonderful if he could be the forward relief for Rayner. In an ideal world he becomes a big bodied midfielder that can bullock his way around the ball and be a threat up forward.
