We’ve picked up some really nice pieces deep in the draft, but we’ve wasted 5 first round picks trying to draft midfielders in the late teens. Now we have to spend the equivalent picks to trade for the talent we didn’t find.

When we were shit we kept filling list spots with free talent and it never worked out. Far better to take a look at as many kids as you can.
