really make our midfield more dynamic though? He's not overly quick or powerful, more an accumulator.

Wonder if Darcy Parish would be gettable given the instability at Essendon. Doesn’t seem to be enjoying his footy there. We would have a surplus of first round picks to get it done.

Parish is what Fiorini would be if given him game time and our #1 clearance player.

Outside of the contest Parish doesn't add much as you would think. Good footballer but if we had to target a midfielder from Essendon it would be Zac Merrett with his ball use or Jake Stringers goalkicking X Factor

I saw a video of him being asked about it on the way in to training a couple weeks ago. His answers were very vague and reeked of a guy on his way out. My gut tells me he's coming to the Suns.

That would allow Fiorini to just get the contested hack kicks and let Anderson Touk Rowell all use their skills on the outside.

I'd rather see bowes get an opportunity. Can't see either of them getting in there without injuries though. Miller, Rowell, Anderson will continue to be our mainstays with hollands, swallow, Davies other options.

Depends what the expectations regarding Jed Walter are.
If he is going to be a top 2-3 pick, having the Eagles first rounder at pick 4 for instance doesn't really help.

Trade would only likely happen if you were wanting to jump ahead of Essendon to grab Busslinger.

Would be a massive win for Gold Coast if eagles pick were to be before a bid on Jed though as then effectively you could be getting two top 5 picks.

Obviously risk is Eagles climb the ladder and Jed gets bid on before eagles 1st.

Thought it was a relatively even trade but wasn’t too sure how you guys would feel so was keen on getting the general consensus.

Effectively pick 3 and say (3-10) for 6 and 8 and 14.

It's probably not an unfair trade but as there isn't a big difference maker at 3, it's not that much better as players 6 and 8 this year.

With us having a potential top 5 academy player next year that probably devalues the pick for us if we need to move it next year for points.

If it falls before the first bid you do, means you’d be able to get the pick as well as all your academy players.
