According to Fox sports yesterday, Suns are one of 8 teams interested in Meek. It does not make too much sense?

So GWS will have Meek, Preuss, Flynn, and Briggs all as AFL quality (near enough anyway) rucks. Very strange trade.

Doesn't seem any point the Suns chasing him, smells like bullshit to me.

GWS rucks are all C graders

Preuss numbers look good but gives away the stupidest free kicks

meek would be a nice fit

We must be a chance to land Dunkley now.
What an absolute train wreck for Lions and North Melbourne.
WOOOW
This will have very serious implications.
Surely our recruiting staff are manically trying to put something together after these recent revelations!

Is Josh Dunkley possibly an option for us now after already being convinced to move to Queensland?
Does Tarryn Thomas still want to be at North after recent racism claims against his coach?
Does Griffin Logue still want to join North with all this uncertainty over who will be coaching next year?

I would imagine that all three will end up at their club of choice, but it is certainly worth asking the question.

We are trying to free up some cap space… Maybe we can use it earlier than expected.

I can't believe the thinking about giving away pick 7 and a starting 22 player.
Getting pick 5 from Adelaide is non negotiable if that's true
I can’t believe that Craig Cameron still has a job. Anyone could come up with a better result, as an example split pick 7 into to picks and give one away allowing the other to be used to acquire another player

The only scenario I can come up is pick 7 + Bowes for Essendon/Hawks/Saints pick 4/6/9 with later rounds sweetener (Essendon, Hawks). Basically off-loading Bowes and his salary for free and pick downgrade.

7 + Bowes -> Saints 9
7 + Bowes + 3rd -> Hawks 6
7 + Bowes + 2nd -> Essendon 4

Too optimistic? :p I think so.

BTW, Twomey did not answer on SEN what Suns expect back.

I'm beginning to think it might be more fun supporting the Tassie Devils!
I’m just about done, if this happens I can’t support this level of self imposed idiocy

surely we can offload him for a second rounder instead??

if we REALLY need to trade him with pick 7 because the last 2 years of his backended contract is that high, whoever was involved with the initial re-signing needs to get the ******* boot. what the f***.
Didn’t he re-sign in 2019? If so, Craig Cameron is the man that signed him to that contract. He needs to be removed before he does any more damage.
